On November 10, celebrities and fashion gurus gathered in NYC for the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.

"I’m so happy to be back at a fashion gathering," designer Tom Ford told the crowd. "I’ve been Chairman of the CFDA for almost three years and this is the first CFDA Awards I’ve been able to host."

"I’m excited to show how American fashion has impacted the rest of the world, whether the rest of the world is ready to acknowledge that or not," he quipped. "That is my goal, to help the rest of the world understand how much they have taken and how much America has given to fashion globally."

The multifaceted star became the youngest person to ever be honored with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award — and rightfully so! She showed up to the event in a red bandeau and matching column skirt, both designed by Vera Wang.

The young singer-actress' white cascading ruffle gown by Carolina Herrera was adorned with a giant black bow.

The actress waved to fans while wearing a yellow tulle gown by Christian Siriano, a piece she called a "fantasy dress."
