While in New York City on August 19, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen spent the day doting on their eldest child, 5-year-old Luna. Later that night, the couple changed their clothes and stepped out for a dinner date in the East Village.

The center of attention!
Teigen donned a blazer, wide-legged jeans and a Calvin Klein crop top, while the "Green Light" crooner embraced the summer vibes with a floral shirt and white ripped jeans.
Little Luna was perfectly on trend in a pink tie-dye T-shirt and frilly coral skirt. The tot is a big sister to 3-year-old brother Miles, who was MIA from the outing.
On Instagram, the cookbook author revealed that there was a swarm of people outside their SoHo hotel because singer Shawn Mendes was in town.
"Shawn Mendes, you are causing a stir on our block," she said while asking if his girlfriend Camila Cabello was also in the neighborhood. "Come hang!"
Teigen just announced that her third cookbook, Cravings: All Together, will release in just two months.
"I wanted to make recipes that would be timeless, food that brings joy to your belly, your household, those around you," the Lip Sync Battle host said of the work. "I wanted people to enjoy not just the outcome, but the process."
Recipes include Luna's unicorn milkshakes and Legend's thick blueberry pancakes, as well as meals like sticky orange-glazed fried chicken sandwiches.
"I hope you love it because it’s honestly my best f**king cookbook yet," she declared to fans.
After years of counting calories, the star revealed that she was done with "diet culture."
"I eat things when I want them. Because if I don't my mind personally goes crazy," she explained. "I kind of put my mind over body a little bit, mind and spirit over body. If it's going to make me happy and make me feel good, then I indulge in it."
The model and her mini-me kept their locks out of their faces: while Teigen opted for two barrettes, Luna's hair was tied back in two braids.
Teigen revealed via Instagram that her mom Pepper also tagged along for the trip.
