Carvel is kicking off the Halloween season by paying tribute to one of the holiday's best movies: Hocus Pocus!
The eatery has debuted three new limited-edition ice cream shakes, each inspired by one of the 1993 flick's Sanderson sisters: Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mary (Kathy Najimy).
Winnie's Glorious Cake Batter Shake consists of Carvel's cake batter ice cream blended into one glorious potion, topped with whipped cream and orange sprinkles.
Sarah's Chilling Churro Shake is described as a spooky blend of Carvel's Churro Crunchies and cinnamon-sugar churro ice cream, topped with whipped cream and yellow sprinkles.
Last but not least, Mary's Divine Cookies & Cream Shake is a delicious divination of cookies and cream pieces, blended with Carvel's classic vanilla soft serve and topped with violet sprinkles.
The color of the cups and spoons coordinate with the sprinkles.
"Much like enjoying a Carvel ice cream treat, watching Freeform's '31 Nights of Halloween' and Disney's Hocus Pocus delivers a true sense of nostalgia and traditions," shared Carvel's Director of Marketing Delia Wong. "With these shakes inspired by everyone's favorite witchy sisters, Halloween and ice cream fans alike will have plenty of opportunities to soak up spooky season memories and create new ones."
While Freeform's Halloween lineup includes plenty of favorites like The Addams Family, Casper, Ghostbusters and Alien, diehard fans of Hocus Pocus are eagerly waiting until the movie's long-awaited sequel hits Disney+.
The film, which is expected to debut next year, follows three young women who accidentally bring back the Sanderson sisters to modern day Salem. They then have to figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc.
