Trump Calls Melania a 'Movie Star' After Awkward Kid Interaction at Easter Egg Roll Event
During the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House, a conversation between a kid and the Trumps went viral. As families and kids gathered to enjoy the games and celebrate on the South Lawn, one particular child standing near First Lady Melania Trump kept asking who she was.
While the first lady gave a confusing reply, President Donald Trump stepped in with a surprising comment. The president introduced his wife to the kids as a “movie star” from Hollywood.
Soon, what was meant to be a lighthearted event suddenly became one of the most talked-about moments online.
'She Came Here From Hollywood'
The annual White House Easter Egg Roll tradition went viral after an awkward but funny exchange between a child and Melania. The event, held on the South Lawn, brought together families for games and celebrations.
During the gathering, a young boy standing close to the first lady appeared confused and repeatedly asked, “Who is that?” within the earshot of Melania. As the boy kept wondering, the 55-year-old responded briefly, saying, “What? I don’t know.”
According to OK Magazine, while Melania added awkwardness to the situation, the president intervened with his tongue-in-cheek comment. Sitting beside his wife, the president stepped in and jokingly told the child, “She’s a movie star. She came here from Hollywood.”
He then repeated the same comment to a broader group of children nearby, introducing the first lady to them as a famous movie star.
Trump Mentions Melania's Documentary During Speech

Trump introducing his wife Melania as a “movie star” to the kids was not random. In recent months, he has often used this phrase while addressing the first lady, following the release of the latter's documentary titled Melania.
Moreover, during his speech at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll event, Trump again referred to his wife in front of a large crowd as a “movie star.” The president said, “What do you think of our first lady? She's a movie star.”
The president continued gushing over his wife, saying, “I don't know, do we call her first lady or movie star? She has the biggest movie. Can you believe this? And she deserves it.” Meanwhile, although his comments made people smile, they also raised some eyebrows online.
Despite Trump praising the first lady's documentary as “the biggest movie,” it did not perform well at the box office. Earning only about $16 million worldwide against a staggering budget, the documentary also received lukewarm reviews from critics.
