Noah Neiman was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, resulting in him grappling with how to channel the "boundless energy harnessed" inside of him. He was later placed on Ritalin, which changed his personality — but not in a good way.

"It took the spark out that made me, me. I was just a kid who didn’t want to be tethered to a desk all day, and doctors were quick to throw pills at me to try and combat what they perceived to be a disorder, which I learned was actually a superpower. Getting off Ritalin left me back in the same position, with this abundance of energy, but struggling with how to properly use it for good. This is when I fortuitously picked up strength training. It kept me present. The better shape I got my physical body in, the better I was able to control my mental body," Neiman exclusively tells Morning Honey. "As a kid I struggled with aggression and depression and a therapist had once told me to punch a pillow. I remember thinking that was silly and wanted to take my aggression and energy out in the gym. It was then that I discovered the transformative power of boxing."

As a result, Neiman's wheels started turning, and he created Rumble Boxing, a workout class that "combines the sweet science of boxing with the transformative power of strength training," the description states per the website.

"I believe in this so much I started Rumble because of my life experiences, and how these disciplines have helped me. Rumble Boxing was born out of that gratitude for the sweet science of boxing and strength training," the Rumble Boxing Co-Founder explains.

Though there's plenty of workouts around the world, Neiman felt like there "wasn't a space to bridge the gap between the average customer that wanted to try their hand at boxing, but also wanted an appropachable and well-rounded workout."

"I knew it was missing, because I wanted that style of workout, and couldn’t find it. So, I created it," he says.

Prior to opening the studios — which have now expanded across the U.S. — Neiman "never thought about being successful. I just wanted to be consistently impactful to the communities we opened in," he says. "We created a space for people to find their strength, health, and mental peace. Empowered by knowing what value we had to GIVE, we were confident as we expanded into new markets. It’s that mentality that drives that growth to this day."

Of course, running a business can be "hard," but rewarding, to say the least. Neiman loves to see people find the "value in his business and experience you created," he says. "As Steve Jobs said, focus on the product, and not the profit, and you’ll be ok!"

Rumble Boxing was built 'on inclusivity.'

Fortunately, Rumble Boxing has been a success seven years after the first studio opened in the Chelsea neighborhood, which is part of New York City.

"Rumble has revolutionized boxing for a new generation. Rumble's authenticity is a reflection of my (and Co-Founder’s) journey. From my teenage years as a skateboarder, which left an indelible mark on Rumble’s logo, reminiscent of the rebellious SPITFIRE logo. The gym's walls echo the late '90s-early 2K MTV vibe, intertwining pop and street art. Every detail is a tribute to the cultural influences that shaped my path," he explains of the decor. "Launching in 2016, Rumble's narrative unfolded naturally during a brainstorming session with my business partner, Eugene Remm, and J-WALK. Their life stories, from Eugene's ventures in clubs and restaurants to my years as a top trainer, became the narrative. What makes Rumble compelling is its authenticity — a fusion of diverse perspectives lived, not scripted."

Though boxing can be intimidating, Rumble Boxing was built "on inclusivity."

"By combining high-energy workouts with a fun yet approachable environment, Rumble has made boxing accessible to all, regardless of age, gender, or fitness level. Rumble has amassed a large female following (over 73 percent female members), who are feeling empowered and confident through the sport of boxing. The empowering atmosphere of a Rumble studio provides a platform for women to challenge stereotypes, both physically and mentally," he shares. "Although an amazing workout, Rumble classes aren't focused on burning calories, but about strength and mental toughness (not to mention a great stress reliever!) as well as what you can gain including confidence and boxing skill."

Since Neiman always wanted to "be a creator," he's thrilled with how far he's come.

"I realized that with my personality and energy, I could never follow a traditional route and be happy. I never wanted to be an entrepreneur; I wanted to be able to be me," he states. "No one STAYS motivated. Motivation is fleeting. Discipline is forever. It enables you to consistently continue pushing forward when motivation is absent. Boxing, Jiu jitsu, and strength training, even when I didn't want to, help teach me that discipline that I ultimately applied to my business acumen. "
