Jennifer Garner & Son Samuel Affleck, 9, Go Shopping At A Farmer's Market In California: Pics

On December 12, Jennifer Garner brought along her 9-year-old son, Samuel Affleck, when making a stop at local farmer's market in Los Angeles, Calif.

Her little man is the youngest of her and ex Ben Affleck's kids, as they also share daughters Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12.

Samuel wore a pair of red sweatpants and a blue tee for the sunny outing, while Garner donned a black peacoat, gray sweater and a pair of light-wash jeans.

The Alias star recently revealed that she sticks to a "low-key" makeup look on most days.

"I don't want my kids or people to only see the actor version of me that is perfectly made up by brilliant artists and think that's how I look," she explained to Today. "I want to look normal and I want to normalize looking normal. I always have felt really strongly about that. And then if I'm dressed up, I like that my kids are like, 'Woo, look at my mom!'"

Safety first! The pair, who were equipped with their own reusable tote bags, put on their face masks before they shopped.

What's for dinner? The duo inspected some leafy greens at the stand.

The mom-of-three grows some of her own fare right in the backyard, where she also has a chicken coop and a beekeeping station! "My kids have their bee suits and like to get involved with it all — it’s so fun, it’s like a living science experiment," she shared with Well+Good. "In our garden, we grow tons of fruits and vegetables. We can’t stop planting new things!"

Garner purchased some berries while Samuel held on to some of their other produce.

The actress has explained that she likes to get her children involved in gardening because "it's key for us to know exactly what we are putting into our bodies in order to feel good and alive with energy."

Mission accomplished! The pair headed back to their car with a few fully loaded bags of food.
