While Black Friday is the best day of the year to shop for clothes, houseware, electronics and much more, you can also score some free or discounted food on the unofficial holiday courtesy of nationwide eateries like Krispy Kreme and Tim Horton's.

If you stop by a participating location, you can receive a free small hot coffee and one original glazed donut — no purchase necessary.
Jamba Juice
Members of My Jamba Rewards will get a coupon in which you can score a small smoothie for $1 when you buy any smoothie. On Cyber Monday, you can get a free food item if you spend more than $15.
Baskin-Robbins
Starting on Friday at 1 p.m. ET, the first 1,000 customers ordering online can get an adorable 6-inch Brrr the Snowman ice cream cake by using the code SNOWMAN. If you're not one of the lucky ones, you can still get 20 percent off your purchase through Cyber Weekend using the code HOLIDAY.
Jeni's Ice Cream
From Friday through Monday, customers can get one free pint with the purchase of five pints. All you have to do is enter the code FREEPINT at checkout. If you live near a scoop shop, the deal is still good in store or local delivery, no code needed.
Wendy's
If you purchase fries through the reward program on the mobile app, you’ll receive 150 free points, which can translate to several free food options.
Tim Horton's
The Canadian coffee chain is being very secretive about their Black Friday special, but they assured fans that members of their rewards program are in for a treat come November 26.
Carl's Jr.
The fast food chain will let you have one free Hot Honey Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit with the purchase of another.
Some other favorite eateries like Starbucks aren't offering actual free food, but have promotions in which you can score free gift cards when buying another one.
For example, from Friday through Monday, you'll receive a $5 eGift card when you purchase an eGift card worth at least $20.
At Einstein Bros., you'll get a free $5 gift card when you buy $25 worth of gift cards.
