On March 8, International Women's Day, TIME hosted a gala in celebration of their 2022 Women of the Year. The inaugural list highlighted a dozen leaders — from singers to athletes — who make a daily effort to try and make the world an equal place.

Michaela Jaé "MJ" Rodriguez
The Pose star, an honoree of the night, was all smiles in a black sequined cutout gown and a choker necklace. "Thank you to my beautiful team for making me feel like a million bucks!" the actress gushed. "What a time to be alive to fight for our existence as HUMANS!"
The Wedding Crashers scene-stealer, who brought her mom as her date, looked elegant in a coral gown by Monique Lhuillier. "Such an honor to attend Time Women of the Year to celebrate International Women’s Day," she wrote on social media.
The country crooner stood out in a floral pink frock and black patent leather gloves. When discussing her title as one of the magazine's Women of the Year, she said, "This planet undoubtedly needs more female perspective and energy and I take it with great honor and gratitude to have the opportunity to share mine."
The Scandal star wowed in a floor-length black vest and black pants, calling the event a "day to remember." She showed her support for Ukraine by pinning their flap to her top.
The TikTok star showed off her long legs in a pale yellow frock that had a long train in the back.
The Olympian shined in a bubblegum pink blazer, bandeau and matching shorts. "Still wrapping my mind around being named one of @time Women of the Year🤯 I was so deeply inspired by an evening surrounded by women I absolutely admire," she shared. "I was fangirling all night!"
Felix noted that she wants to use her status to work "toward a more equal world and better future for women."
