Security around Ivanka Trump and her family has been stepped up after reports that an Iraq-born suspect, who has links with Iran-backed militant groups, discussed targeting the president’s daughter as payback for the 2020 killing of Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani.

Now, security measures for Ivanka, husband Jared Kushner, and their children have been significantly beefed up at their home after authorities uncovered the potential assassination threat, reports Rob Shuter's substack.

“Ivanka always knew there were dangers that came with being Donald Trump’s daughter, but this hit differently,” a source close to the Trump family told Shuter.

“Learning someone talked about targeting her personally made it all feel frighteningly real,” they added.

The New York Post reported that Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi was arrested, for apparently having a role in the plot against Ivanka.

Apparently, Al-Saadi discussed killing Ivanka Trump as revenge for President Donald Trump’s 2020 drone strike that killed Soleimani in Baghdad. The 32-year-old may also have ties to the IRGC as well as to Kata’ib Hezbolla.

The news of the plans to assassinate Ivanka became public just before her brother tied the knot with Bettina Anderson over Memorial weekend.

Ivanka Trump may have been targeted by extremist group.

Sources close to the family said that the alleged threat dramatically changed the daily life of Ivanka and her family.

“Her entire world has changed,” another insider reportedly said. “Every movement is planned. Routes are changed constantly. Visitors are screened. Security is everywhere.”

Friends also said that Ivanka has become increasingly cautious about travel, public appearances, and outings involving her children.

“This stopped being political for her a long time ago,” another source said. “She’s a mother first, and protecting her kids is now all she thinks about,” they stated.

Apparently, Al-Saadi posted online threats next to an image showing the area of Florida where Ivanka and Kushner own a home that's reportedly worth a cool $24 million.

One translated message warned Americans that “neither your palaces nor the Secret Service will protect you.”

Al-Saadi could be linked to international terror activity

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reportedly wanted to assasinate Ivanka Trump. Kushner.

It seems as if Al-Saadi may have a history of this type of activity because federal authorities have accused him of being involved in several attacks and attempted attacks across Europe and North America.

His name, says the Department of Justice, has apparently been connected to attacks on Jewish and American targets in places like Amsterdam, London, Toronto, Belgium, and Rotterdam.

Investigators also say that Al-Saadi has kept close ties to senior Iranian military figures after Soleimani’s death. This includes still being connected to Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, who is Soleimani successor of the Quds Force.

“Publicly available information shows that Mohammad Baqer was in contact and a close friend of … Qasem Soleimani,” the Post reported.

And it seems as if it may be personal for Al-Saadi. He apparently viewed Soleimani as a father figure and used a religious tourism business to build travel internationally so that he could meet connections with militant networks.

Ivanka converted to Orthodox Judaism before she married Kushner in 2009.

After Al-Saadi's arrest, the Trump family is paying attention to their security.

“No one is taking chances anymore,” one source said. “Not after this.”
