After sources recently revealed that Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt had broken up, the 30-year-old model and actress waited for the right time to confirm reports of the split.

Taking to TikTok, Hewitt, who had a daughter with Davidson in December, implied she has been parenting largely on her own.

The 30-year-old claimed to be exhausted, recovering from the breakup, and taking care of a 5-month-old child, while making money, all on her own.

Elsie Hewitt publicly confirmed her breakup with Pete Davidson, while responding to criticism over her appearance in recent paparazzi photos, in her TikTok video.

Sharing a TikTok on May 16, Hewitt addressed comments about looking “casual” in public following her split from Pete Davidson.

In the images, she appeared in a casual outfit, caring for her 5-month-old daughter, Scottie Rose.

Addressing the images, Hewitt explained that while people are scrutinizing her appearance, she is actually exhausted from balancing raising her baby while also working to support herself.

“That's not what I'm thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money, and I'm doing it on my own, which is hard,” the model shared.

She added that handling everything on her own has been difficult, as she reacted to the breakup in the comments section.

She appeared to like a message from a TikTok user who said that “not staying with your partner” during the postpartum period is “insanely loser behavior.”

Later that day, Hewitt posted an Instagram story stating that she is searching for a nanny or assistant to help care for her daughter.

“I'm currently trying to find an assistant/ mother's helper / nanny type / basically [a] right-hand person,” she wrote. Further adding, “Apply here if qualified & serious. Only looking @ responses with resumes.”

Meanwhile, after sources had revealed on Thursday, that Pete Davidson's busy schedule had reportedly led to his split with Elsie Hewitt, people already mocked the comedian for his long list of ex-girlfriends and history of short-lived relationships.

Further, as Hewitt spoke about feeling exhausted on TikTok, over the weekend, Davidson's public image came under even more scrutiny.

Reflecting on his list of exes, another user wrote, “He was never serious with any woman.” Some even joked, “Pete Davidson really has a type and it's not being there.”

Therefore, soon after Hewitt's TikTok video led Davidson to face criticism, sources close to the comedian debunked the model's comments.

Despite previously confiding in The Sun that Davidson's busy schedule caused the breakup, sources are claiming that he has now made himself “extremely available” after the breakup.

"Pete has made himself extremely available and has provided full financial support. Pete is actually covering all Scottie costs and more,” insiders told People.

“He is hoping Elsie has good health and success for the sake of their daughter.”
