‘Worst President in U.S. History’: Jack White Blasts Donald Trump Over AI ‘Jesus’ Image
Known for being a consistent critic of President Donald Trump, musician Jack White once again made it clear that he and the U.S. President will never see eye to eye. After Trump shared an AI-generated image of himself as Jesus Christ on Truth Social on Sunday, April 12, White did not hold back on his harsh response.
While the president sparked strong reactions from people across political spheres and social media, the harshest response came from the musician. White stood out with his public criticism of Trump, further adding fuel to the fire, and rekindling the tension between them.

Trump later deleted the post, but the White Stripes rocker took a screenshot of the post and shared it via his Instagram account. In the post, he questioned Trump’s support among evangelical Christians, asking followers if they remembered warnings about an “anti-Christ” figure who would act Christlike and mislead people.
“Hey, evangelical Christians? Remember that anti-Christ you been squawking about all these years and how he'd present himself as Christlike and bring about the end of days with a final war in the Middle East involving Jerusalem? Well... check out your boy now!” White said.
He went on to list controversies linked to Trump, including mentions of the Epstein files and recent military actions. Jack White argued that if these incidents were not enough to change people’s minds, the image should be. White further raised concerns about religious supporters backing Trump.
“How can any so-called Christian support him after this blasphemy? How could any Catholic support him after he attacks the character of their Pope multiple times? How did so many millions of people fall for this conman?” White said. He then concluded his post by labeling Trump as the “Worst American of All Time.”
“He's already got worst President in the history of America on lock, but I'm gonna go ahead and take the honor of pronouncing Trump 'Worst American of All Time.’” White concluded.
The President Tried Justifying His Blasphemous Image
Trump offers a defense over his controversial post.
Days earlier, after a brief squabble with Pope Leo XIV, President Trump shared the controversial picture. The image also included fighter jets, eagles, and what looked like military personnel in the background.
Later on, as the post made waves on social media and triggered backlash from the political and religious spheres, Trump was asked about the post. During the interview, he defended the image claiming that it showed him as a doctor linked to the Red Cross. He then argued that only “fake news” would interpret it differently.
“I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor, and had to do with Red Cross, there's a Red Cross worker there, which we support, and only the fake news could come up with that one,” Trump said. Meanwhile, even Vice President JD Vance supported the President and called the post a “joke”.
"I think the president was posting a joke, and of course, he took it down because he recognized that a lot of people weren't understanding his humor in that case," Vance said in an interview with Fox News. He then added how often Trump "likes to mix it up on social media,” hinting at several of his previous controversial posts.
"I actually think that's one of the good things about this President, is t hat he's not filtered. He doesn't send everything through a communications professional. He actually reaches out directly to the people," Vance justified. But despite the support from his administration, as the post drew criticism, Trump removed the image.
