Usha Vance Flaunts Her Baby Bump at the White House Amid JD Vance Divorce Rumors
As President Donald Trump welcomed the British royals -- King Charles III and Queen Camilla -- at the White House on Monday, April 27, Second Lady Usha Vance attended the event with her husband, Vice President JD Vance.
While meeting the king and queen at the White House, the 40-year-old displayed her baby bump.
Usha is currently awaiting the birth of her fourth child, who's due in late July 2026.
While Usha and JD are expecting a baby boy, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is awaiting the birth of her second child -- a daughter -- in early May 2026.
Usha Vance Draws Attention at White House Event
Usha Vance spotted alongside JD Vance and Marco Rubio during the welcoming ceremony of King Charles and Queen Camilla at the White House.
The second lady attended the formal welcoming ceremony of Charles and Camilla at the South Lawn of the White House.
At the event, Usha wore a light blue dress with X-shaped cutouts along the skirt and paired it with black heels.
Despite being criticized for her sense of fashion, her color choice stood out, as she is expecting a baby boy.
The Vances already have three children: Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
Meanwhile, during the event, the second lady appeared relaxed and smiling, drawing attention to her demeanor while taking part in the official ceremony.
Divorce Speculations Surrounding JD and Usha Vance
Meanwhile, although Usha and JD appeared at the official event together, the duo have repeatedly sparked speculations about their marriage.
The speculations initially began after the 40-year-old mother of three appeared at a public event without her wedding ring.
Observers were quick to consider it a sign of trouble, despite her spokesperson dismissing the claims.
In a statement to People, the spokesperson said, “[Usha is] a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.”
In addition, sources close to the couple claimed that the second lady’s decision to appear in public without the ring is not unusual and does not signal any issues in their relationship.
Yet, the Vances continue to face public scrutiny because of their interfaith marriage.
Criticism aggravated after JD expressed hope for his wife to convert to Christianity.
His comments drew backlash from the Hindu American Foundation, which called it dismissive of Usha's background.
Meanwhile, Usha has remained firm on her family’s approach toward religion.
She has said that their children are free to choose their own beliefs, thus raising eyebrows about differences in opinion between her and her husband.
