President Donald Trump’s days at the Oval Office might be numbered, claims an expert.

Veteran Democratic political strategist James Carville made a startling prediction, claiming that the president might not finish his second presidential term.

Carville supported his claims by citing concerns about Trump's health and what he described as a noticeable decline in the president's public performance.

James Carville shares his views on Donald Trump's action.

Appearing as a guest on Politicon’s Politics War Room podcast, Carville shared his views on Trump's health and said that he believes the president may no longer be in the Oval Office by April 2027.

Carville stated, “I increasingly believe that we're on a much shorter leash than that.”

The political strategist claimed that Trump's health is declining rapidly and opined that evidence of the president's declining condition is visible to anyone following his public appearances.

"You're looking at it right in front of your eyes. And it's not wishful thinking, it's not projecting. It's just what's happening," he said.

The erstwhile advisor to former President Bill Clinton emphasized that there are things other than Trump's physical health that needs public attention.

Carville said that Trump's speeches and public statements appear to carry less weight than they did during his first term.

"People are giving less of a [expletive] of what he says," Carville said, adding that the shift is evident not only among American citizens but also among foreign leaders and other politicians.

“It's not the same job he had a year ago, and it's clearly not going to be the same job come November,” Carville added.

Carville claimed that the current situation might be a critical inflection point.

“He's turned a corner, and turned a corner in a really substantial way,” he said.

Donald Trump's Public Behavior Raises Questions

In the same podcast, the political strategist pointed to a New York Times report that highlighted Trump's recent Truth Social post warning Iran that he would end its civilization.

The report also highlighted the president's public dispute with Pope Leo XIV.

On Monday, April 13, Trump wrote on Truth Social, calling Pope Leo "WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy."

The president also claimed that if he had been in the White House earlier, Leo would not have become pope, and suggested that the head of the Vatican use "Common Sense."

Trump subsequently shared an AI-generated image of himself being embraced by Jesus Christ in a another post on Truth Social. The posts drew criticism from social media users and sparked discussions about his public demeanor.
