Penélope Cruz was the woman of the hour at the 2021 Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit.
The actress was honored at the December 14 gala for her impressive movie career, and she spent the night surrounded by a few of her famous friends.
Since Chanel acted as one of the hosts for the shindig, the Oscar winner wore a stunning red gown by the designer when she took the podium to accept her accolade.

A true movie star! Cruz's custom red gown featured a bow in the front, an open back and silver detailing at the neckline.
She also wore black peep-toe heels and white god jewelry.
In her acceptance speech, she gave a special thank you to director Pedro Almodóvar.
"As a child I was mesmerized by the magic and wonder and beauty of the cinema. I spent hours watching and rewatching films. Spanish films, French, Italian films, and, of course, also American films. But then, I saw the Spanish film Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!" she recalled. "I had never seen anything like it. Watching what Pedro and his actors were doing made me feel that I wanted to do just that — that I had to be part of that universe."
"It was clear in the way he wrote incredible, complex female characters how much Pedro loved and respected women," she continued. "I would not be here tonight and honored by MoMA if I had not had the privilege of working with brilliant directors who have inspired me, taught me and helped me grow as an artist and a person."
Actress Leslie Mann stopped by in a buttoned-up cardigan and black maxi skirt, while husband Judd Apatow wore a black suit that had a subtle checkered design.
Cruz's pal Diane Kruger donned a white and blue floral two-piece.
"You are a true icon and inspiration," she gushed of the Spanish star. "And I’m glad I was able to be there and see all these people dump their love and appreciation on you."
Funny lady Kristen Wiig wore a black crop top, relaxed-fit pants and an eye-catching body chain around her waist.
Riley Keough looked cute in a pink and black Chanel pantsuit.
