As King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in the United States to attend the White House state dinner, the first lady delivered a masterclass in modern elegance.

Dressed in a breathtaking head-to-toe Christian Dior Haute Couture ensemble, Melania made a striking entrance on Tuesday (April 28) evening.

During a Vogue cover interview conducted by Greta Gerwig, as Streep and Wintour were asked how women should dress to “communicate power,” they failed to come up with a compliment for the first lady.

All Wintour could muster up for the first lady’s fashion sense was that she “always looks like herself when she dresses.”

Further, Streep criticized Melania, saying, “I think the most powerful message that our current first lady sent was in the coat that said ‘I Really Don’t Care, Do U?’ when she was going to see migrant children who were incarcerated.”
