Jennifer Aniston Had a Hilarious Take When Barack Obama Dating Rumors Took Over the Internet

Celebrities in Hollywood are frequently the subject of dating speculation. Take Jennifer Aniston, for instance, who was once linked to none other than Barack Obama. However, the actress shut down the rumor with a humorous response.

The speculation surrounding Aniston and Obama beginning a romance emerged in 2024. This was also the same time when the rumors about Barack and Michelle Obama’s marriage allegedly going downhill began circulating.

The actress, however, did not entertain the claims and was quick to shut down the speculations. In October 2024, the actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she spoke about the speculation. Jennifer revealed that she found the rumor about her dating the former President so bizarre that she was “not mad at it” at all.

Aniston dismissed the claim and revealed that she had met Barack Obama only once. Interestingly, the We’re the Millers actress said that she knows his wife, Michelle Obama, better.

In a September 2025 interview with Vanity Fair, the actress again addressed the speculations surrounding her and Obama’s rumored affair. Jennifer Aniston said that she never dated the former president and did not know where the rumor came from. However, she confessed that she did not take it seriously.

The actress also made a surprising revelation, saying that she had lunch with Michelle Obama the previous month. However, inevitably, she did not talk about the bizarre rumor surrounding her and Barack during lunch with the former First Lady.

Jennifer said, “I was lucky enough to have dinner with Michelle a month ago.” Giving a complete eye roll to her dating rumors with Obama, the actress added, “I don't think anyone really pays attention to reports like that if you're the subject of them.”

However, while Barack Obama and Jennifer Aniston’s dating rumors proved to be false, the latter made sure to hard-launch her relationship with her real beau, wellness coach and author, Jim Curtis, on his birthday.

The Murder Mystery actress shared a black-and-white picture of her arms wrapped around Curtis on her social media account in November 2025, where she captioned it, “Happy birthday, my love."

Aniston and Curtis first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted spending some quality time with each other on a yacht in Mallorca, which also had their other friends, including Amy Schumer and Jason Bateman.

The wellness coach also revealed how their love story began when he made an appearance on the Today show. Jim Curtis said, “We were introduced by friends. We found out that we had mutual friends, and we started to just chat. It took a long time. We chatted for a long time, and we became close."

Meanwhile, rumors surrounding Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s marriage have repeatedly done the rounds on social media. But the former first couple repeatedly proved the world wrong and have continued to show a strong relationship with the former president even making an appearance on his wife’s podcast, IMO, in July 2025.
