While the back of Barron Trump’s head had full and healthy hair, the front part was an unpleasant contrast. Some users also felt that not only was the slick-back hairdo inspired by his older brothers but it might also be a resort to hide his receding hairline.

The internet also observed how the NYU Stern School of Business student had his scalp shining under the bright lights. One of the social media users shared a picture of Barron Trump from the inauguration where his receding hairline gets a full sight.

The user captioned the same saying, “Barron Trump already going bald. Nothing crueler in the world.” An X user highlighted the areas of Barron’s head where his hair was the thinnest and wrote, “And it looks like Barron Trump's hairline is already receding. It's getting thin up there. Apple and tree?"

A user on X further took a dig at the youngest Trump scion and added, “Happy that I’m not the only person who noticed it. A balding Barron will stop all those right wing obsessions about him being the heir apparent.”

Another social media user criticized Barron Trump’s slick-back hairdo that had made his receding hairline a little more prominent. The comment said, “He needs to drop the 80s slick-back. It looks terrible on him.”

However, a social media user also came out in support of the youngster. The user stated, “Leave him alone. He is a kid. I would be a recluse if I had to deal with people like you.”

An expert also gave her insight on whether Barron Trump indeed inherited a receding hairline from his father. After analyzing Barron’s 2025 inauguration pictures, Dr. Gizem Seymenoglu confirmed that he indeed might be losing his hair and Donald Trump’s genetics might have a role to play in this.

Speaking to the Irish Star, Dr. Gizem Seymenoglu said, “I believe Barron is indeed suffering from hair loss, much like his own father. His frontal hair is likely thinning due to androgenetic alopecia or pattern hair loss, which is primarily a genetic condition that can be inherited from either parent.”

However, the expert hinted that apart from genetics, stress might also be another factor for Barron to start losing his hair at such a young age. The doctor added, “Stress could be further contributing to Barron's hair loss, given that he is still a teenager, albeit a very high-profile one who has just been thrust into the spotlight.”
