Barron Trump has now been linked with a journalist.

However, the first son son made a profound change when he moved as he began studying at New York University. f

This has only intensified the romance rumors surrounding him, where he was once bizarrely even linked to Princess Isabella of Denmark. However, some social media users also linked him with journalist and author Rikki Schlott earlier this month.

However, Schlott was quick to react to these speculations on her social media handle. After a now-deleted post linking Barron and Schlott got amplified on social media, Schlott responded to the rumors.

The journalist shared the same post and captioned it, stating, “That's a no." As a result, she ended up dismissing the rumors surrounding her dating the 20-year-old.

While it is still unclear as to how the dating rumors between Barron Trump and Rikki Schlott began, it might have begun after the journalist wrote some news articles on his college experience.

The Internet Reacts to Rikki Schlott’s Clarification

Some MAGGA loyalists felt that Barron Trump could do better than a journalist

In one of the New York Post articles that she wrote, Schlott described Barron as “hunky.” The reaction led to a mixed reaction from the social media users. While some thought that the journalist is “too good” for Barron, some MAGA loyalists felt that he could “do better” than a journalist.

One of the social media users stated, “Ew, he is gross. You are too smart and pretty for him.” An X user added, “Surely, you do not want to get involved with a horrendous grifting family.”

But some social media users took Barron Trump’s side after the journalist gave her clarification. One of the X users commented, “That's a relief. He could do so much better than a journalist." A user on X added, “Thank God. We actually like Barron.”

However, a social media user sympathized with both Schlott and Trump over the rumor. The comment said, “I'd hate to be a victim of random shipping like this."

Interestingly, there is a common factor between the journalist and Barron even though she has laid their dating rumors to rest. Before Barron Trump began his stint at the New York University, Rikki Schlott studied history in the institution.

However, she took a break for many years before taking admission in Columbia University. Her LinkedIn profile also mentions that she is still in school, part-time. The age gap between him and Schlott is smaller as compared to his parents who have an age gap of almost 24 years. While Barron is 20-years-old, the journalist is around five years older to him and must be 25-years-old.
