Meghan McCain threatened to 'sue' Alex Jones for the latter's claims about John McCain.
Alex Jones Claims John McCain Was a ‘Bagman’ for Terrorists, Late Senator's Daughter Claps Back
While Infowars founder Alex Jones has faced scrutiny for his outlandish claims in the past, his latest accusations against late Sen. John McCain has sparked controversy yet again. During a recent episode of his online show, Jones alleged that McCain served as a "bagman" with direct ties to terrorist groups. This prompted fierce backlash from McCain's daughter, Meghan.
Taking to her X account, Meghan called Jones' comments completely false and offensive. She made clear she's prepared to pursue legal action if he persists, slamming the remarks as deeply hurtful and disrespectful to her father's legacy. The exchange has ignited a heated public feud.
'They Have an Excuse To Go Invade..'
During a recent episode of his online show, Alex Jones made shocking new claims about the late U.S. Sen. John McCain. He alleged McCain maintained secret ties to Islamist terror groups, sparking widespread anger.
Jones accused McCain of acting as a "bagman" for decades, delivering funds, including via planes of cash, to Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Boko Haram. He further claimed Western nations like the U.S. and allies backed these groups for geopolitical aims.
“Going back over 30 years, Sen. John McCain was the bagman, and sometimes he delivered the checks himself in literally planes of cash, to Al Qaeda, then to ISIS, Boko Haram, all of it. And they would use them to knock out our enemies, but also as the pretext to them come in and invade and attack,” Jones said.
He added how the U.S. and Israel continue to “fund and support and run all the most vicious Muslim groups there are. And bring them in. They say fight ’em over there so we don’t fight ’em over here.” Jones further said that these actions were used as a way to justify wars and strict security measures back home.
“The West brings them in, then when the Muslims attack us, they set up TSA to grope our testicles. They take our rights, they have an excuse to go invade these countries. All in the name of keeping us safe,” he said. Although there is no evidence to support these claims, Alex Jones’ comments prompted Meghan McCain to retort.
Meghan McCain Responds to Alex Jones
An X user shares Meghan McCain’s now deleted post about Alex Jones.
Following Alex Jones' comments on her late father, Sen. John McCain, daughter Meghan McCain fired back at the conspiracy theorist. On X Monday morning, she threatened to sue over his insinuating remarks.
“My family has the resources to sue your *** for this ******** and we all know how that’s gone for you in the past,” McCain wrote in her tweet. Now, although it seemingly threatened Jones publicly, McCain also faced some public wrath, which allegedly led her to delete her post.
Candace Owens responded to McCain's post with a hint of sarcasm, asking her, “And how exactly do you believe your family acquired those resources?” She added, “Perhaps you might utilize some of those resources on a lawyer to explain to you how defamation law works for the deceased, so you might avoid tweeting something this obtuse in the future?”
