Gavin Newsom Sparks Fresh Controversy With Brutal Donald Trump Swipe: 'Worst President in History'

California Governor Gavin Newsom has launched a fierce new attack on Donald Trump on social media. In a recent viral post on X, Newsom lashed out at Trump, sparking a wave of mixed reactions from internet users.

Launching a direct attack against Trump, Newsom wrote on X, "LIKE this post if you think Donald Trump is the worst president in American history — a walking dumpster fire of corruption who betrayed his oath, divided the country for profit, ripped healthcare away, and turned the White House into a family grift operation."

His bold statement gathered thousands of likes, shares, and responses. While many agreed with the governor, a section of users jumped in to defend the president.

Reacting to Newsom's post, where he called Trump "the worst president in American history", a user replied, "Worst Governor in America EVER". A user stated, "When are you moving out of the country? Every other defeated leftist seems to be doing that. I’m just asking questions."

An individual replied to his post in the same style, writing, "Like my post if you think Gavin Newsom is the worst politician in the history of California."

Gavin Newsom and Trump's fight is not a one-time event. Newsom has declared war on Trump multiple times over the last few years. He started mimicking Trump's writing style on Truth Social by using bold all-caps text like him to mock the MAGA movement.

Newsom's team has often launched direct, personal insults at Trump on X. During various political events, the governor has mocked Trump for appearing to fall asleep during important public events and legal hearings. He also labeled him as a "brainless Trump" after he pulled the United States out of the United Nations climate framework, as per Newsbreak.

The California Governor also blasted Trump for his controversial, racially charged video that appeared on his social media network. The now-deleted video depicted former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama as apes dancing in a jungle.

Reacting to the video he called 'racist', Newsom said, "It's disgraceful. It's racist. It's abhorrent. The President of the United States sending out a racist trope should disgust every human being in this room. Everyone... In any other circumstance that person would be fired, the board of directors would ask him to be fired. Be ashamed and humiliated and would have apologized. He did none of the above. How the h-ll is he allowed to get away with that?"
