Owens expressed deep fatigue over frequent security incidents involving the president, saying that the situation is "becoming a weekend hobby" and that the public is becoming "completely numb to the news."

The commentator, who has evolved into a harsh critic of Trump, did not hold back her frustration regarding constant reports of assassination attempts against Trump.

“We cannot be here and expect an assassination attempt every weekend and expect different results. It is too much. It's too much. First one in Butler, I was on the brink of tears. We came in over the weekend to cover this. The second one, happened on a golf course, we were there, we covered it. Diligently reporting on the assassin,” Owens said.

She added, "But now, Trump, we are kind of losing count here. This is becoming like a weekend hobby. The public is growing apathetic. You are setting the wrong kind of Guinness World Record. It's not even generating public interest anymore. It's giving Munchausen Syndrome. It's giving you are trying to turn these assassination attempts into a brand, and this cannot be a brand."

What is Munchausen Syndrome?

Calling out the repeated assassination attempts against Trump, Owens mentioned, "It's giving Munchausen Syndrome."

By using this term, she referenced a psychological condition where someone fakes or exaggerates an illness or trauma to gain attention and sympathy.

She also suggested that the frequency of the assassination attempts has less to do with security failures and more to do with a strategy to keep Trump in the spotlight.

Owens was once a vocal supporter of Trump. However, she has openly criticized his policies and political choices over the last year.

In a high-profile media move, she recently sat down for an interview with Hunter Biden.

During that discussion, Hunter talked about his struggles with substance abuse, after which Owens issued an apology to him for previously mocking his addiction.

An individual commented, "They do seem fake but it’s more secret service is bad at acting."

One user wrote, "I totally believe it. Anybody else on the planet, it would be beyond even considering. Trump? Of course."
