Evita Duffy-Alfonso, daughter of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy, has sparked online outrage with a bold claim about women and voting. Appearing on Human Events with Jack Posobiec, she claimed that unmarried women often make poor voting choices because they lack “the security of a male.”

Duffy-Alfonso raised the topic while discussing bigger issues like a possible U.S. military draft and declining support for President Donald Trump among young people. But this remark drew the most attention and criticism across social media, raising questions about her views on women today.

Evita Duffy-Alfonso sparks criticism for connecting unmarried women to poor voting choices.

After show host Jack Posobiec kicked off the discussion with rumors of a possible U.S. military draft, Duffy-Alfonso made the controversial remarks about women and voting.

Posobiec noted how the Army raised the enlistment age from 35 to 42 amid ongoing tensions that triggered from Trump’s war on Iran. He addressed Trump's slipping support among younger voters.

When asked about young men and women "turning the other way," Duffy-Alfonso said this group isn't the main concern. She argued that Trump must focus on married vs. unmarried men and married vs. unmarried women.

"And if you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense, just intuitively," the 26-year-old conservative commentator said. "If you're an unmarried woman, what are you looking for in your life most of all? What is missing? It's the security of a male."

She continued, "And so young women and unmarried women, especially, are saying, looking at the Democratic Party, which is entirely based on offering free things and social programs, 'That's my party. That's what I want to go towards'."

Duffy-Alfonso further stated, “And so they vote very, very poorly.” While Duffy-Alfonso tried making a point, her remarks sparked criticism online, with netizens calling her views outdated and offensive.

'Democrats Have Spun Her Words'

After making the striking connections between unmarried women and voting, Duffy-Alfonso went on to address how young voters are becoming more critical of Trump. Speaking on the show, she argued that the growing concern among young people stems from political narratives rather than real events.

"There's a narrative that this is going to be a 20-year 'forever war'," she said. "And there's also a narrative that President Trump is going to bring back the draft. I don't think [White House press secretary] Karoline Leavitt said that. Democrats have spun her words to mean that."

Pointing to rumors that Trump might bring back the military draft, Duffy-Alfonso clarified that Leavitt's words were misunderstood and blown out of proportion. She said Democrats were mainly pushing these ideas to hurt Trump's approval ratings.

Duffy-Alfonso added, "And so that is deeply troubling if you're a 22-year-old, 23-year-old man getting ready to go to the polls. 'Oh, if I vote for a Republican, I'm voting to go to war overseas.' And the White House hasn't done enough to actually correct the record on that."
