Tech mogul Elon Musk had filed for child custody in January 2026 following rumors that his son's mother, Ashley St. Clair, was considering a gender transition for their son.

Ever since then, St. Clair has been vocal about her relationship with Musk.

Taking to her social media, St. Clair has criticized the Tesla CEO, despite the latter paying for child support.

Recently, St. Clair sat for an interview with Luke Beasley on the latter's podcast, where she lashed out at political commentator Benny Johnson.

Following this, far-right political activist Laura Loomer accused St. Clair of conspiracy.

On X, Loomer alleged that the 27-year-old influencer has been selling information about Musk to Steve Bannon, while trying to baby-trap the 72-year-old strategist.

Laura Loomer lashes out at Ashley St. Clair.

After Musk threatened to file for full custody of their son, Romulus, 1, St. Clair has been sharing TikTok videos speaking about her relationship with Musk.

She posted a series of TikTok videos in May, which have now garnered millions of views.

However, it was St. Clair's particularly long, 20‑minute video, uploaded on May 15, that gained the most traction.

Therein she claimed that the billionaire businessman slid into her DMs, got to close to her and then had a child with her.

She alleged that Musk is now refusing to pay child support for their son.

However, as her videos went viral and she became a topic of debate online, Loomer publicly challenged St. Clair’s accusations.

She began by claiming that St. Clair was pretending to align with left-wing politics despite previously holding different views.

“While Ashley St. Clair pretends to be leftist now (even though she always has been), source tells me she was at Steve Bannon’s house a couple weeks ago… She’s been having meetings with him as she allegedly sells information about @elonmusk to the media to make money despite Elon giving her millions of dollars,” Loomer stated.

She continued, “She lied about Elon to make him look bad by saying he never takes care of his kids, but she never spends time with her own children. Her first baby daddy @drjohnny__ is basically a single dad because Ashley is a neglectful mom. Looks like she’s just going to whoever will give her a listening ear and some money.”

Loomer further accused St. Clair by claiming, “Source told me Bannon told them Ashley was ‘hitting on him aggressively’ while she met him. She never met a rich man with political influence who she didn’t want to baby trap.”

A Deep Dive Into Ashley St. Clair and Elon Musk's Feud

It was known that Musk has 13 children with three different women, over the course of a few decades.

However, things changed after St. Clair revealed in February 2025 that she had secretly welcomed a son, named Romulus, who was apparently Musk’s son.

Thereafter, although the businessman had refused to claim Romulus as his son, he posted on X about his willingness to take a paternity test, while claiming to have “given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

In response to his post, St. Clair wrote how he was offered the chance for a paternity test before the baby was born, but he refused.

“And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary… until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience.’ But you’re really only punishing your son,” the 27-year-old wrote.

Later, although a paternity test proved that Romulus is indeed his son, Musk and St. Clair fell out of good terms.

Eventually, in January 2026, the tech billionaire threatened to sue for full custody of their son, even though the 27-year-old had already sued for sole custody of Romulus in February 2025.

The threat came after St. Clair apologized on social media for her previous “blatant transphobia” which led Musk to assume that she was willing to let their 1-year-old son go through a gender transition.

Musk’s X post gained traction, leading several well-known figures to get involved and accuse St. Clair of being a negligent mother.

This led the influencer to make TikTok videos against Musk and talk about her relationship with him. In one of the videos, she claimed, “as soon as I’m pregnant, this is when things start getting weird.”
