Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding Might Be an Awkward Affair for Several Celebrity Exes

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rumored July 4 wedding is surely one of the most anticipated events of the summer.

However, there might be some room for awkwardness among the high-profile guests who are set to attend the grand wedding.

The reason? Some of these celebrities might have an uneasy encounter with their exes.

According to the Daily Mail, singer-songwriter Jack Antonoff might be invited to the wedding since he is considered to be one of Swift's closest friends.

However, his ex, Lena Dunham, who recently revealed that she cheated on him during their time together, might also grace the wedding since she is also said to be a close friend of The Way I Loved You singer and had even asked Swift to be her bridesmaid when she tied the knot with Luis Felber in 2021.

In her recently released memoir, Famesick, Dunham confessed that she had reconnected with an ex named Nick when her then boyfriend Antonoff was allegedly growing close with pop sensation Lorde.

For a long time, rumors were rife that Antonoff and Lorde were dating, but the duo repeatedly denied the same.

Now, Antonoff, who is currently married to Margaret Qualley, might be an attendee at Swift and Kelce’s wedding, only to come face to face with his ex, Dunham, which might turn out to be an awkward affair.

On the other hand, both Gracie Abrams and Phoebe Bridgers might be attending Swift’s big day, having previously opened for her at the 2023 U.S. leg of her Eras Tour.

However, their encounter with each other might be an awkward affair, considering Bridgers had previously dated Abrams' current boyfriend, actor Paul Mescal.

Shawn Mendes might also get an invitation to the event, where he might bump into Camila Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter, who are said to be close to Swift as well.

While Shawn dated Camila between 2019 and 2021, he was also said to have been romantically linked with Carpenter in early 2023, with whom he reportedly had a temporary fling.
