Sunday, June 5, MTV aired their annual Movie & TV Awards. The awards ceremony was hosted by the Spring Breakers star Vanessa Hudgens. The actress turned heads with her blue dress and her flame patterned nails. The bold manicure is the brainchild of nail artist Zola Ganzorigt.
Hudgens isn't the only star who rocked a Ganzorigt manicure for the elite event — Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney wore pink polish with a sparkly finish to complement her low-rise skirt and crop top. For both stars, Ganzorigt used OPI products to create unforgettable manicures.
Sweeney's pretty and pink manicure required six steps. Ganzorigt lists them as:
- Start by prepping the nails.
- Apply a coat of OPI GelColor Stay Classic Base Coat.
- Apply one coat of OPI GelColor in “Pink BIG” from the Power of Hue collection.
- Apply a thin layer of OPI Chrome Effects No-Cleanse Top Coat.
- Then, use the OPI Chrome Effects in “Mixed Metals.”
- Finish by applying OPI GelColor Stay Classic Base Coat.
Hudgens' flaming nails required a few more steps in order to create the intricate designs. Ganzorigt used the following routine:
- Start by prepping the nails.
- Apply a coat of OPI GelColor Stay Classic Base Coat.
- Apply one coat of OPI GelColor in “Put It In Neutral.”
- Next, apply two coats of OPI GelColor in “Cliffside Karaoke.”
- Make flames using OPI GelColor in “Black Onyx.”
- Apply a thin layer of OPI Chrome Effects No-Cleanse Top Coat on the black flames.
- Then, rub the OPI Chrome Effects in “Tin Man Can” on the flames.
- Finish by applying OPI GelColor Stay Classic Base Coat.
