The Devil Wears Prada 2, according to Variety, centers on Priestly, played by Meryl Streep, as “she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.”

'That b---- has not made me a morsel'

When Colbert questioned Anne if Tucci had cooked something for her, a nod to her widely celebrated love of food and cooking, Hathaway jokingly trolled the actor and said, "That b---- has not made me a morsel."

She pointed out that despite his great skills in Italian cooking, the actor has not made a meal for her throughout their long professional relationship. She said, "I have dropped so many hints that I would love to know. He’ll tell me [about a dish], but I have not yet received a crumb."

During her guest appearance on Fandango’s Big Ticket Podcast on March 12, Hathaway shared her surprise over the progress of the project. She acknowledged that initially, the team did not believe that they would work on a sequel two decades after the original film's release.

Stanley also echoed the same sentiments as Anne during the podcast. He mentioned that throughout his 45-year career, he had never seen a reunion like this. The movie will show the return of the original cast members.

In another part of the conversation, the actress expressed her excitement about reuniting with Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Tucci for the long-anticipated sequel, which comes two decades after the first film.

“I just felt like I got to be in this, like, supergroup 20 years ago and we got back together to make another album,” she shared.
