King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s four-day state visit to the U.S. was marked by a number of memorable moments.

From President Donald Trump’s awkward age-gap remark to First Lady Melania Trump to the president's "clear directive" to ban fast food at the White House in honor of Charles' dietary preferences, the list goes on.

Adding another noteworthy moment to this list, Melania and Camilla were spotted sharing a joke about the rainy weather during the welcoming ceremony of the royal couple at the White House.

Now, a lip reader has deciphered the conversation the spouses had while seated on a raised platform during the event.

Speaking with the Daily Mail, professional lip reader Nicola Hickling decoded the conversation Melania and Camilla had during this time.

The queen said, according to Hickling, "Oh, it’s rather wet." Melania agreed and said, “It certainly is,” as both were seen chuckling together.

Camilla then said, “We shall have soggy bottoms,” to which the first lady lady replied, “Soggy bottom?”

The phrase is popularized in the United Kingdom by the television show The Great British Bake Off to describe a damp base.

However, by the time the ceremony ended, the weather cleared, and the women participated in an event on the White House grounds.

The women then spoke on the tennis court, where children were using virtual reality (VR) devices.

The initiative is part of Melania's Fostering the Future Together program, which focuses on using emerging technologies in education.

'Beautiful British Day'

During a speech at the ceremony, Trump also joked about the damp weather.

He called the overcast conditions a “beautiful British day,” drawing laughter from the crowd.

A 21-gun salute greeted the king and queen, and the national anthems for the United States and the United Kingdom were played.

Trump praised the “special relationship” between the countries.

“We hope it will always remain that way,” the president said. “Americans have had no closer friends than the British,” he said.

Moreover, the president discussed his mother's emigration from Scotland to the United States when she was 19.

“My mother, I just see it so clearly, she loved. I told the king that she loved the royal family and she loved the queen,” Trump said.

He stated that his mother watched television whenever the queen appeared on it.

“She really did love the family, but I also remember her saying very clearly, Charles, look, young Charles, he’s so cute. My mother had a crush on Charles. Can you believe it?” Trump said.
