'Seen Enough Nonsense': Melania and Donald Trump’s Matchmaker Shuts Down Epstein Links
Paolo Zampolli, the Italian modeling agent who reportedly introduced Melania Trump to President Donald Trump, is pushing back against scrutiny linking his social network to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
This comes amid a former associate threatening to publicly reveal what she claims to know about the connections, according to Radar Online.
The renewed attention on Zampolli follows the release of the Epstein files, which mentioned individuals from interlinked social and business networks.
Zampolli initially brought Melania to New York in the 1990s and allegedly introduced her to Trump at a party during the New York Fashion Week in 1998 — an occasion he says he recalls vividly.
'Melania, Meet Donald; Donald, Meet Melania'
Speaking to The Daily Beast, Zampolli said, "I said: 'Melania, meet Donald; Donald, meet Melania,' and then I left the table because I had 300 guests." He further stressed that it was him, and not Epstein, who was behind Melania and Trump's initial encounter.
Zampolli also reaffirmed Melania's recent public statement denying any ties to Epstein, saying, "Even without an attorney, I'm volunteering to go to Congress to testify about this, because we have seen enough nonsense."

On his own connection to Epstein, Zampolli said the relationship was "purely professional."
"For me, Jeffrey Epstein was a financial partner of Victoria's Secret. I had to deal with him," he said, referring to the lingerie company once associated with Epstein's partner Les Wexner.
"We never get along, thank G-d. But I had to have a very cordial relationship," he further added.
'My Ex Is a Criminal and a Psychopath'
Zampolli has not been accused of any misconduct, though his name appears multiple times in the released documents, including in previous reports and testimonies.
The Zampolli-Epstein speculations gained all the more traction when a woman, believed to be the modeling agent's former partner, Brazilian model Amanda Ungaro, posted online saying she would "expose everything."
The posts, which directly addressed Melania's previous social media activity, rapidly gained popularity. However, it is still unclear if the account is genuine.
Ungaro, who was in a relationship with Zampolli and has a teenage son with him, has also made accusations related to a custody dispute, which Zampolli has reportedly denied.
"My ex is a criminal and a psychopath. She was arrested. She was illegal," Zampolli said. He also rejected the suggestion that Ungaro's posts influenced Melania's recent White House statement, calling the idea implausible.
"But for her to now try to get the fame and go after our marvelous first lady of the United States of America? I don't even think the first lady ever spoke to her in maybe 10 years, maximum 13 years. It's mind-boggling. She is the first lady of the United States," Zampolli said, adding, "Do you think she cares about my ex?"
Melania Trump dismisses having any connections with Jeffrey Epstein during a recent White House speech.
In a recent White House statement, Melania denied having any connection to Epstein. "The falsehoods connecting me to the scandalous Jeffrey Epstein must be put to rest today. I have never had a friendship with Epstein," she said.
