'No Other Pearl to Be Found': Ivanka Trump's Cryptic Social Media Post Fuels Melania Feud Rumors

Ivanka Trump took to her social media handle to share some glimpses from her brother Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding to Bettina Anderson, which took place at West Palm Beach, Florida, on May 23.

However, amid this, Ivanka also shared a cryptic post on her Instagram stories, that ignited speculations about her alleged strained relationship with her stepmother, First Lady Melania Trump, who had given the occasion a miss.

The absence of her father, President Donald Trump, and the first lady from the wedding ceremony intensified speculations surrounding her alleged tensions within the clan.

Ivanka shared a picture with her niece, Kai Trump, where the duo could be seen posing in vibrant ensembles. She further shared a snapshot of herself and Kai paddleboarding in a yellow bikini.

Ivanka also shared glimpses of the scenic beauty of the venue, which looked like a replica of a tropical island.

Furthermore, she shared some endearing pictures with her husband, Jared Kushner, and in another selfie, posed with her sister Tiffany Trump and sister-in-law Lara Trump.

However, amid this, the former advisor to the president shared a cryptic post that was a little pensive in tone.

“To love or have loved, that is enough. Ask nothing less. There is no other pearl to be found in the dark folds of life,” the quote of the post shared by Ivanka read.

This further fueled the rumors of underlying tensions between Melania and the older Trump siblings — the children of the president’s previous wives, Ivana Trump and Marla Maples.

An insider close to the development revealed to Rob Shuter’s Substack page, Naughty But Nice, “Melania did not want to spend a full weekend with Donald's adult children from previous marriages. That tension has existed for years, even if nobody says it publicly."

The insider added that the first lady has remained “emotionally distant” from her stepchildren: Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump.

Melania’s son, Barron Trump, also did not attend his elder stepbrother’s wedding.

“Barron grew up in a completely different world from Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany. There's emotional distance there, and everyone in the family knows it,” the insider said.

While the president cited his ongoing international professional commitments as the primary reason behind his skipping the wedding of his son, sources suggest that the turmoil within the family may have also played a role in Trump and Melania giving the occasion a miss.

Expressing his inability to attend the wedding, Trump took to his Truth Social account on May 22, to write, “While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon-to-be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so. I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!”
