'No Compassion': Marjorie Taylor Greene Exposes Trump’s Cold Reaction to Death Threats Against Her Son

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene recently revealed how President Donald Trump responded when she reached out to him regarding serious death threats against her family.

Greene said that Trump showed “no compassion” and even suggested she would be to blame if something happened to her son.

This comes months after Greene had a fallout with the president regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files which prompted her to resign from her seat in the House of Representatives in November 2025.

Following the incident, Trump called her a “traitor,” which Greene said prompted his supporters to threaten her and her children.

During a recent interview with Piers Morgan on his show on Wednesday, April 15, Greene opened up about the text message exchanges she said she had with Trump after her resignation.

On the show, Greene said she contacted Trump after she started receiving a large number of death threats following her exit.

According to Greene, she started receiving the threats after Trump repeatedly called her “traitor,” which she said escalated after Trump repeatedly called her a "traitor."

“The only time I reached out to him was via text message after I had resigned and he had been attacking me, and I was receiving, I can’t even count how many death threats. But the death threats escalated on one of my children,” Greene said.

“The quotes in the death threat were from what the president had been calling me, a traitor,” she stated.

She further added, “He basically blamed me. He had no compassion for death threats on my children. He blamed me basically that if my son were to get killed, it would be my fault.”

Greene claimed that Trump blamed her for the threats and showed no sympathy.

The 51-year-old noted, “I said, ‘No one’s children should ever be the victim of death threats or have any kind of political violence brought on them because of our politics, because of our disagreements.’ He had no compassion whatsoever… It's like a nail in the coffin. It tells me exactly who Donald Trump is.”

Greene was once among Trump's most prominent supporters, frequently appearing at rallies and backing his policy agenda.

Their relationship deteriorated after she called for the release of the Epstein files and pushed the Department of Justice to make them public.

Greene announced her resignation in November 2025 while continuing to publicly criticize Trump.

Following her departure, Trump wrote on Truth Social, "Marjorie 'Traitor' Brown, because of PLUMMETING Poll Numbers, and not wanting to face a Primary Challenger with a strong Trump Endorsement (where she would have no chance of winning!), has decided to call it 'quits.'"

Mocking Greene's poll numbers, Trump claimed that she resigned because she could not win the reelection.

Trump also praised Clay Fuller, who won the seat Greene vacated, calling him "talented" and a significant improvement.

Taking to his Truth Social, he wrote, “Marjorie “Traitor” Brown’s (GREEN TURNS TO BROWN UNDER STRESS!) seat in Congress has been taken over by a wonderful and talented man, Clay Fuller.”

He added, “[Fuller] won convincingly, and right from the beginning, despite many people running for that “TRUMP” +37 seat, and despite the stench left by Greene. Congratulations to Clay Fuller, a very large improvement over his deranged predecessor!”
