‘It Makes Me Wonder if She’s Already Deceased’

In a documentary by NewsNation, Gary Brucato, a forensic psychologist, shared a possible theory about the case and the suspect who visited Nancy Guthrie’s house. He explained that there can be a high possibility of the 84-year-old being “eliminated elsewhere,” and the suspect made sure to visit her residence to make it look like a home abduction.

He continued, “This then shifts to a much more sophisticated and scheming character behind this kind of thing.” He pointed out that the masked suspect appeared incredibly calm at the doorbell camera, remarking, “coolness under pressure.” He added, “It makes me wonder if she's already deceased, and he's staging the scene.”

The expert explained that the individual likely had no reason to be nervous because Nancy Guthrie was possibly already dead. Casey Jordan, a behavioral analyst, compared the suspect’s behavior to that of an amateur unfamiliar with being stealthy, saying, “the whole holster dangling there, it’s amateurville.”

In a separate report by Fox News, Chris Nanos, Pima County Sheriff, and the officer leading the case, confirmed that investigators are getting closer to solving it. He said the recent developments are “really great,” though he did not go into further detail.
