Representative Ro Khanna has called out King Charles III for reportedly declining to meet with Jeffrey Epstein survivors during his United States visit.

According to reports, a meeting between Charles and Epstein victims was initially scheduled to take place during the king's four-day state visit.

However, the 77-year-old reportedly chose not to take part in the same.

The meeting was seen by many as an important opportunity to acknowledge the survivors’ experiences and concerns.

However, the king’s absence from the planned engagement has raised questions, with Khanna strongly criticizing the monarch, calling his move “very disappointing.”

Ro Khanna shares his views on King Charles' alleged refusal to meet Epstein survivors.

Charles was expected to attend a roundtable discussion with survivors linked to the late s*x offender on Tuesday, April 28, in Washington, D.C.

However, when the meeting featuring Charles did not take place, Khanna publicly called out the British monarch.

According to a report by Us Weekly, Khanna called the king’s decision a “moral failure,” saying it reflected a lack of accountability, especially since his brother, former Prince Andrew, has been accused of having ties to Epstein and causing harm to several victims.

“It’s very disappointing after the British Ambassador [Sir Christian Turner] told me that the king would talk about the survivors and s*x trafficking,” Khanna said, referring to the expected meeting not coming to fruition.

“The king’s failure to acknowledge the pain his brother had caused is a moral failure and emblematic of an elite impunity that is an ongoing affront to survivors,” Khanna added.

Meanwhile, according to ABC7, Khanna, who himself held a roundtable discussion with Epstein survivors on Tuesday, April 28, said, “I thought the king owed that to the survivors, given his brother's serious allegations of abuse.”

He also noted how he had personally asked the king to meet the survivors. However, he said that his request was declined.

“I thought it would have been an incredible moment and statement to show that it doesn't matter how much wealth you have, how much power you have. No human being is dispensable and the survivors deserve justice. He unfortunately declined that request,” Khanna shared.

The congressman also mentioned meeting the British ambassador and asking him to urge Charles to acknowledge Epstein survivors during the king's address to Congress on Tuesday, April 28.

However, Khanna said that despite his expectations, Charles did not follow through.

Ro Khanna Holds Roundtable Discussion With Jeffrey Epstein Victims

As mentioned earlier, although Charles allegedly declined Khanna's request to meet the Epstein survivors, the congressman held the scheduled roundtable discussion in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, April 28.

The discussion commenced as Charles carried out a high-profile visit to the White House and Congress.

Khanna said he used the king’s state visit to highlight the survivors’ voices and push for action from lawmakers.

In addition, the meeting with the survivors came in the midst of continuing scrutiny and accusations against Andrew.

The former prince was accused of abuse and alleged links to Epstein.

Several survivors attended the discussion, along with the brother and sister-in-law of the late Virginia Giuffre, who had accused Epstein and Andrew of abuse.

Ultimately, Khanna said, the goal of the roundtable was to push for investigations, prosecutions of those responsible, and the release of all related files tied to the case.
