The reports have renewed scrutiny of her standing in Hollywood, although no formal split has been revealed. With talk gaining momentum regarding Meghan’s professional connections and changing career path, questions are resurfacing about her overall status in Hollywood.

Dan Wootton, the broadcaster, criticized Markle, alleging that she might have “quietly” ended her relationship with WME.

During his podcast, Dan Wootton Outspoken, he claimed that Suits alum had been "dumped" by her agency, citing its influence in Hollywood. Meghan signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME) in 2023, under the leadership of Ari Emanuel, to enhance her visibility in Hollywood. The agency has represented popular celebrities like Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, Vin Diesel, and Oprah Winfrey.

Wootton said that rumors of their split were going on for a while, "but Meghan and Archewell, along with her little liars in Montecito, have been pushing back and claiming they remain engaged”, as reported by The Express.

Meghan Markle is dealing one more Hollywood rejection.

The allegations received increased focus after Alison Boshoff of the Daily Mail revealed that Meghan and Prince Harry had discreetly ended their association with WME a while back. An unidentified source reportedly claimed that conflicts emerged due to the demands expected of agency personnel during the 2023 Thanksgiving.

Wootton elaborated, which he labeled ‘unreasonable expectations,’ and asserted that the agency eventually decided to distance itself from Meghan. One insider said, "This is a company that is used to working with the biggest divas in the world, but when it came to Meghan Markle, they said, ‘Enough! We are not having this. Our staff deserves a Thanksgiving. You’re gone, sweetheart.'”

Another industry insider also said that the media coverage, especially regarding Meghan's alleged dispute with Netflix, may not have happened if WME were still representing the duchess.

WME has earlier dismissed separation rumors

Regardless of the rumors, both WME and individuals close to the Sussexes have previously denied any official split, with reports from early 2025 suggesting that neither party publicly acknowledged a separation. In response, the broadcaster said, “Lies, lies, and more lies. She’s not telling the truth. There’s no contract. There’s no deal. They’re not involved."

The broadcaster also commented on the couple's professional life, saying that they have lost numerous significant industry collaborations, including agreements with Spotify, Netflix, and WME.
