The Sussexes, who left their royal duties in 2020, were absent from the video. Notably, the couple had been to London for the jubilee celebrations but were not allowed on the balcony. Users were quick to notice the alleged snub and even discussed it online. The report also notes that internet users launched a Reddit thread, predicting that Harry and Meghan would be upset about the snub.

A user wrote, "No Harry and Meghan on that balcony." Another added, "They will be absolutely livid in Montecito. I’m glad they didn’t show Harry and Meghan. Those two made the Queen’s last years full of stress. It would be unfair to her memory to pretend that all was well between them."

A third user remarked, “Knowing that near the end of her life, she was heartbroken by her grandson and his hustling wife is so upsetting; they don’t deserve a mention, let alone an appearance.” One user wrote, "Harry's a footnote. Meghan is a footnote's plus one." Another user added, "Harry will soon do something about it to get attention and whine again."

In a part of the video, the 77-year-old monarch also noted that his mother’s lifelong commitment and sense of duty left a lasting mark across the UK, the Commonwealth, and beyond.
