Pop singer Miley Cyrus achieved another milestone in her career as she received her official star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
While the celebration for the same was a major moment for the pop star, it quickly turned awkward due to an uncomfortable exchange with her fiancé, Maxx Morando.
During the red carpet photo session, Morando was seen in casual clothes -- a red graphic t-shirt, black pants and sunglasses.
He walked up to Cyrus and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek for the photographers.
However, Cyrus then asked him to step back and even gave him a gentle push out of the frame so she can get solo pictures.

The internet quickly noticed the rather awkward interaction between the couple.
Social media users rushed to assess the situation and shared their thoughts on it. On Threads, one user wrote, "He looks like a tourist".
Another person added, "She shouldn't have had to ask. It's obviously her moment."

One user defended Cyrus' gesture, writing, "Looking like he just woke up from his mom’s basement. I’d ask for solo shots too.”

Cyrus' mother, Tish Cyrus, and her sister, Brandi Cyrus, were also present at the event.
However, two family members skipped the ceremony -- Cyrus' father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and her younger sister, Noah Cyrus.
Later, Billy Ray posted a congratulatory message for her daughter on Instagram. The Flowers singer replied by writing "love you" along with a star emoji.
This has once again put the spotlight back on the Cyrus' family issues. According to Yardbarker, the Cyrus siblings have remained divided, and family members, too, aren't on very good terms with each other.
Tish Cyrus' Wedding to Dominic Purcell
A suspected reason for the alleged family divide is Tish's recent marriage to Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell.
According to the South China Morning Post, before Tish started dating Purcell, the latter was romantically involved with Tish's youngest daughter, Noah.

Sources claimed that Noah and Purcell were seeing each other on and off for nearly nine months. Tish was reportedly fully aware of their past relationship but chose to pursue Purcell without talking to Noah first.

Despite all the family drama, Cyrus is focusing entirely on her music and career.
