Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed frustration with the current state of U.S. politics, stating that voters, including herself, have reached a saturation point with what she described as a toxic and divisive political environment.
As reported by Radar Online, her dig was directed to both Republicans and Democrats, stating that the voters had had enough “drama”. Taking to her X account, Greene wrote, “Practically everyone I talk to is done with toxic divisive politics. They hate both sides because both sides are failures. Yes, people still hold their core beliefs, but they are fed up with the drama. All people want is their government to shut up and make Americans' lives good. That's it. Just that.”
This rant came following a previous post of the former MAGA loyalist, where she made a bombshell remark claiming that the “GOP is done” after a surveillance extension invited a lot of controversy within her own party.

Taking a dig at the Donald Trump-backed administration, Greene stated, “After years of Trump and Republicans campaigning and demanding on Fox News that warrant requirements must be added to FISA, nothing changed .”
Continuing her remarks, the Republican said, “The promises they made to you are broken. The only thing that matters is voting records, none of their words. Words are meaningless puffs of air.”
The former Trump ally also referred to Republicans who, according to her, sided with Democrats. On this, she stated, “Behind the veil, they are the same as the Democrats. The betrayal on FISA, no ban on CBDC, not stopping AI in cars, protecting glyphosate, the Iran war, and no domestic agenda lowering the cost of living and health insurance are all unforgivable.”
In a January 2026 interaction with political commentator Kim Iverson, she also criticized MAGA, which she had previously supported.

The former Congresswoman said, “MAGA is... I think people are realizing it was all a lie. It was a big lie for the people,” implying that the movement no longer works for the cause of the American citizens.
She added, “MAGA now serves the big donors that donate all the money. Those are the people that get the special favors, the government contracts, they get the pardons.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene also expressed her disappointment with the Trump administration, allegedly allowing outside influence in their decisions. She said, “It's the foreign countries that are running the show here. We've got civil war practically breaking out in Minnesota, can we not care about that?" We're seeing war on behalf of Israel. We're seeing the people in Gaza — innocent people in Gaza, hundreds of thousands of them completely murdered."
On a concluding note, Greene took a dig at the objective of MAGA, which also inspired its name, Make America Great Again. She said, “The mask is being pulled off and 'Make America Great Again' isn't really about America or the American people."
However, her social media post did not leave all the social media users enamored. One of the X users stated, “You are literally the drama.” Another user on X added, “You do know you helped to create that environment, right?” A social media user chimed in, “You are literally one of the worst perpetrators of divisive politics.”
