Emily Blunt has spilled some tea from the red carpet, which involves her husband John Krasinski.

While speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Blunt admitted she almost got “the ick” from Krasinski’s bold fashion choice for the 2026 Golden Globes.

During her chat with Fallon, the actress revealed it was particularly her husband's decision to go for the turtleneck look that almost made her question her life choices.

Discussing the whole situation, Blunt kept it real, funny and totally relatable for the audience.

Appearing on the Tuesday, April 28, episode of the talk show, Blunt began the conversation by stating how she has an intense aversion toward turtlenecks.

“I’ll be honest… I have a full organ rejection to turtlenecks usually,” she said.

“When John pitched me this outfit and he was like, ‘And it’s a turtleneck,’ I had to compose my face into, like, impassive, ‘Oh, that sounds great,’ you know?’” Blunt stated.

However, Krasinski eventually managed to pull his look together, pairing his dark turtleneck sweater with a black blazer, pants and glasses.

In the end, that red carpet look stunned his fans, and also left Blunt in awe of him.

“But then when I saw [him], I thought he looked like Michael Caine. He looked so cool. ‘60s vibe,” Blunt admitted.

“But normally a man in the turtleneck gives me the ick. Sorry to any turtleneck wearers tonight,” she added.

She continued explaining her preference in men's wear, stating, “I don’t mind, like, a James Dean leather jacket, but if we’re looking at a dad leather jacket, where it’s a little bomber jacket and it’s very shiny? A little tight. And cropped.”

Upcoming Projects of Emily Blunt and John Krasinski

Meanwhile, Blunt is juggling a busy schedule as she returns to her role in The Devil Wears Prada 2, set to hit the theaters on May 1.

The sequel reunites her with co-stars Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci.

While her film is set to hit the theaters, Krasinski is busy working on A Quiet Place Part III, which is expected to be released in July 2027.

The couple previously collaborated on the hit A Quiet Place franchise, which Krasinski directs and writes.

Blunt has shared a fun glimpse into Krasinski's creative process, saying, “He starts shooting really soon. He’s been writing it.”

She further added, “He’s one of these weird, sort of Beautiful Mind people. He goes up, he has post-its everywhere, and he’s like that for months, organizing it.”

Blunt continued, “[It’s] to the point where I’m like, ‘Please write this movie. Stop post-iting our house.’”

She also touched upon her hopes and expectations surrounding the film, stating, “The only thing I’m sort of praying for is maybe slightly less action.”

She said, “There’s a lot of running in Quiet Place 1 and 2. I had one bad knee before I started the franchise. And now I have two bad knees.”

Blunt concluded by saying, “John was like, ‘Hey, can you do a fake stumble?’ and I did and botched the other one up. So I’m hoping to sort of sit quietly in Quiet Place 3.”
