‘Delicate Snowflake’: Jimmy Kimmel Brutally Roasts 'Drama Queen' Trump in Mock Monologue
Jimmy Kimmel might not be the official host of the upcoming White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but that did not stop him from coming up with his own mock version, where he slammed President Donald Trump for being a “snowflake.”
Usually, a comedian is selected to host the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where they roast the president and poke fun at other dignitaries.
However, Trump, who will be attending this dinner for the first time as president, has decided not to include this tradition.
Instead, the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) opted for mentalist and author Oz Pearlman as the entertainer and host of the night.
Jimmy Kimmel Takes a Jibe at Donald Trump
Following Kid Rock’s footsteps, who headlined the alternate Super Bowl half-time show, Kimmel presented his own version of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner monologue on Thursday, April 23.
Kimmel stood at a podium, spoke to the audience as if they were the attendees, and then took jabs at Trump.
His nine-minute roast of Trump’s administration left the audience in stitches.
“Our president is a delicate snowflake with the thinnest fat skin of any human being ever, and that means there’s going to be no comedian this year,” Kimmel explained in his April 23 monologue.
Jimmy Kimmel takes a dig at Donald Trump and his administration during a mock version of the White House Correspondents' Dinner event.
As if covering for the absence of a comic and a roast of the president at the upcoming event, Kimmel offered to “do some of the jokes a comedian might do if our president wasn’t a trembling drama queen.”
Kimmel also blasted Trump over his alleged connection to the disgraced financier and convicted child s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein.
He also referenced claims that Epstein introduced First Lady Melania Trump to the president.
“By the way, before we go any further: Melania, this is Donald. Donald, this is Melania,” Kimmel joked, adding, “That was my impression of Jeffrey Epstein.”
Kimmel then addressed Trump and said, “Don’t worry, if we bruise your ego, it’ll only make your hands look less disgusting,” referring to the bruise marks on the president's hands that have often made headlines and drawn concern regarding his health.
Kimmel then added, “The president didn’t want me to tell any jokes about him tonight, but he also didn’t want to pay me $130,000 to shut up, so here we are. Sorry, Mushroom D**k,” apparently referring to his previous alleged affair with Stormy Daniels, to whom he purportedly paid $130K hush money during his 2016 presidential campaign, and who had earlier described the president's appendage with the same term.
Saturday, April 25, will mark Trump’s first time attending the Correspondents’ Dinner, as he has always skipped the tradition during his presidency.
According to The Daily Beast, Trump is expected to launch an in-person attack against certain media outlets during the event.
Sources also told the outlet that the president is “expected” to blast publications that he believes have written negatively about his administration and the U.S.-Iran war.
