'Anti-Common-Sense': Bill Maher Lashes out at Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton for Dodging His Show

Bill Maher has lashed out at Democrats Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton for allegedly refusing to appear on his show and instead only opting to speak with those who “pre-adore” them.

Maher revealed the same on a recent episode of his podcast, Club Random, where he was in conversation with Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am.

The latter asked the host-comedian about the personalities that he would like to speak with. Responding to this, Maher stated that although he would like Democrats to come on his show, some of them have allegedly refused to do the same.

Maher called out the Democrats, whom he wanted to interact with on his show.

“Ironically, mostly Democrats, [but] like, because they're such [expletive], they won't come on the show. Like the Clintons, I mean, you know, Kamala, I voted for you,” Maher said.

He also connected this alleged stringent attitude of the Democrats with the reason behind their loss in the elections. The Real Time with Bill Maher star added, “Democrats are [expletive] about, like, going anywhere that they're not already pre-adored.”

Maher especially took aim at Harris, who has yet to appear on his show.

Talking about her, the host said, “Not all of them, but I mean, somebody (like) Kamala Harris, I mean, like I always say to my woke friends, we voted for the same person. You're just why she lost.”

Will.i.am asked Maher the reason behind the Democrats exhibiting such a behavior.

The host replied, saying that the problem of the liberals is that they have come “to champion a lot of really silly, anti-common-sense ideas.”

Maher claimed that the current behavior of the Democrats is the complete opposite of the eras of former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, whom he called “the ultimate pragmatist.”

Commenting about the Democrats, Maher said, “What you have to mainly understand about political parties is that they're controlled by their fringes, the people on the fringes. They have the megaphone, especially on the left. Well, both… It's younger people. Younger people on both sides are much more radical, and they're better at social media. They're better at media. They're better at getting attention.”

Some social media users reacted to Maher's rant against the Democrats.

One X wrote, “Once in a while, Bill (Maher) shows some common sense.” Another user added, “Well, at least Maher has evolved from only hating all things conservative to now hating cowardice on either side of the floor.”

“He is speaking the truth,” an individual claimed. One user on mocked Maher and said, “And yet he falls in line and votes for them.”

Lashing out at the host, one stated, “Bill is an idiot. He sees the absurdity of the left and still votes for them.”
