Vince Camuto was a pioneer in shoe wear and apparel. The designer, who was the co-founder of Nine West and his namesake brand Vince Camuto, understood the value of creating quality shoes at an affordable price point.
Camuto founded Nine West in 1977 as Fisher Camuto, which later took on the name of a neighboring building. The company was then sold in 1999, and two years later, the Camuto Group was founded. While working alongside wife Louise Camuto, the designer launched the label Vince Camuto and worked alongside singer-turned-designer Jessica Simpson and Tory Burch.
Even though the visionary passed in 2015 in his Greenwich, Conn., home, he is remembered through the shoe brand he founded: Nine West, as well as the eponymous one he left behind.
During the Fourth of July holiday, the shoe brand will have a variety of sale items and will incorporate an additional 30% off on select deals. Shoppers can save on shoes, bags and apparel, but hurry because the sale ends July 5!
