Venezuela Fury’s 'Super Broke' Bridesmaid Sparks Etiquette Debate After Listing Wedding Day Dress for Sale
Venezuela Fury, the 16-year-old daughter of boxing great Tyson Fury, recently got married to 19-year-old amateur boxer Noah Price.
While Venezuela is enjoying her honeymoon, one of her bridesmaids has grabbed the headlines.
After attending Venezuela's wedding, bridesmaid Libby Peat took to her TikTok account to share snaps from the wedding, where she was seen wearing a pale blue dress.
Claiming to be broke, Peat informed her followers that the garment is up for sale.
Her actions sparked an intense social media debate about wedding etiquette.

Venezuela tied the knot with Price on May 16. Days later, on Wednesday, May 20, Peat listed her bridesmaid dress for £525 ($705) on her Vinted page.
Further sharing the link via a TikTok video, Peat wrote, “Who wants to buy my bridesmaid dress, super broke rn could use the money.”
In the caption, Peat mentioned, “I'm being dead srs taking offers.” However, after the video gained traction and earned over 1.3 million views, several of her followers criticized her decision to sell her bridesmaid dress.
One user sarcastically wrote, “I’m sure the bride will be pleased.” Another added, “Who paid for the dress? As that’s the person who should sell it.”
An individual highlighted that it will be difficult to sell the dress because people now know that it was worn at Venezuela's wedding.
“It's very beautiful, but anyone who wears it anywhere now people are gonna know it was a bridesmaid dress from Venezuela's wedding. There's so many photos of it,” one user stated.
However, not everyone seemed to be unhappy about Peat’s decision.
One of her followers noted, “I don’t see the problem! What's she supposed to do, keep it forever?! (She just said she needs the money!)”
Another mentioned, “So many petty comments leave the gal alone, it's not like she's gonna wear again.”
After her video faced significant criticism, Peat shared another video stating that “it's just not that serious” to make global headlines about.
She mentioned that since she can't “wrap it up in a plastic bag and put it in my 10-foot-long, five-foot-wide caravan for the next 40 years,” the only option she has is to “either sell it or put it in the bin.”
Even Venezuela's mother, Paris Fury, asked for an update in the comments section of the post, wondering, “Did it sell Libby?”
Although Peat didn't reply, the dress is no longer available to buy on her page, which suggests that either it was sold, or she had to take the listing down because of the criticism.
Venezuela Fury Responds to Comments About Her New Home
Meanwhile, as netizens wondered about what Venezuela might think of Peat’s decision to sell her bridesmaid dress, it appears that the 16-year-old is dealing with her share of online trolling.
After sharing a glimpse of her luxury home in the East Riding of Yorkshire as she jetted off to Marbella for her honeymoon, Venezuela drew online mockery.
Venezuela shared a video of her and her husband's new home on TikTok, with the caption, “R first ever home so proud of my Noah.”
The post attracted thousands of comments, with some calling the house “a caravan.”
However, the 16-year-old later posted a video clarifying that “it’s not a caravan, it’s a chalet, static home.”
According to the video, the couple's new house has a lavish kitchen, a marble bathroom with a free-standing bath, a spacious living room with a built-in TV cabinet, and a fireplace underneath.
This traditional gypsy caravan was gifted to Venezuela and Price by her parents, alongside £5 million ($6.7 million).
