Donald Trump speaks during a segment of the Netflix documentary 'Hulk Hogan: Real American.'
In a now-viral clip from Hulk Hogan: Real American, a segment showed the president telling the interviewer “to go ahead if you are ready, I have a big Russia meeting going on.”
He then described his relationship with Hogan, shedding light on his relationship with the iconic wrestler.
During the documentary, Trump could be seen calling Hogan a “good man” and a “nice guy,” and stating that he instantly agreed to be a part of the documentary because the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Famer had personally asked him to.
The scene then changes to a clip from WrestleMania IV from 1988 that was organized at the Trump Plaza, where a young Trump was in attendance.
The president then recalled Hogan's performance at the event and said that he was “wrestling his heart out.”
Trump stated that when the wrestling legend walked out, he did not look like he was in peak physical condition, and added that “he was a showman and that would be a good word for him.”
The president mentioned that he watched Hogan wrestle on several occasions and revealed that they shared a good relationship with each other.
Hogan endorsed Trump during the 2024 campaign, appearing at an event where he ripped his shirt off to reveal a "Trump Vance 2024" tank top.
