Donald Trump speaks during a recent Cabinet meeting.

During a Wednesday, May 27 Cabinet meeting, Trump claimed that there have been a lot of happy people around, stating that operations around the nation are “going very well.”

He addressed the press, noting that he had helpful information to share as he welcomed them to the session.

He discussed different topics, ranging from secure borders to lowered crime rates; he even talked about the administration's focus on lowering drug prices.

The president then spoke about one of his favorite topics and urged the media to talk more about it, calling it “one of the biggest things ever to happen in our country.”

Trump shared that they have been selling medications on TrumpRx.gov with “price differences of 400, 500, and even 600 percent.”

He continued, “Now, you could say 80, 90, 70, 60, 50 percent if you want. There are two ways... depends on the way you ask the question.”

Trump explained the pricing discrepancy by claiming that a pill manufactured in London for $10 was previously selling in the U.S. for $130.

He emphasized that his imposition of tariffs on big countries forced them to agree to his terms, leading to “some very interesting discussions.”

The commander-in-chief claimed foreign entities declined his offer initially, but when he threatened to charge them with a 50 percent tariff on everything they sell into America, they had no choice but to cave in.

Donald Trump's claims of acing three cognitive tests prompts social media chatter.

The president added, “So we were paying the highest drug prices in the world. Now we're paying the lowest drug prices in the world.”

Earlier that day, the 79-year-old posted a picture on Truth Social, claiming that he had taken three cognitive tests and had passed all of them, drawing comparisons to former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

The post was captioned “Aced Cognitive Tests.”

However, several social media users mocked the assertion.

'Trump’s Never Ending Lies'

The clip of Trump’s comments from the Cabinet meeting quickly went viral on social media, as the public reacted to his claim about the discount on drug prices.

One user wrote, “Talking of drugs…….. what is @realDonaldTrump taking now that is making him talk at 90 miles an hour and then, minutes later, fall asleep? Any ideas?”

Another user stated, “Does that mean the drug companies will pay us to take the drugs. Because at 100% the drugs would be free?”

An individual commented, “They all sit there agreeing with his nonsense.”

One person added, “Did republicans have any math courses when they went to school? How can they just sit there and go along with Trump’s never ending lies.”

“This is what happens when Definitely Demented Donnie introduces Math Insocially to Truth Social,” wrote one user.

Another noted, “At 600% off, CVS should be handing out Ozempic and a $50 gift card at the register. The math is not mathing on this one folks.”
