The teaser had him sitting on a stool and strumming his guitar while crooning the track.

In it, Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, sat in front of a wooden wall, which had a big crucifix cutout with some light passing through it.

In the other slides of the Instagram post, the singer could be seen sporting a green jacket, jeans and a cream-colored cowboy hat. The clicks featured him playing his guitar and looking into the camera.

Kid Rock shares a teaser of the new rendition of his song 'Til You Can’t.

The All Summer Long singer shared an emotional message while sharing the teaser of the track.

He wrote, “This song -- and now video -- means more to me than most will ever know. There was no way to include everyone I love who has been so important in my life, so apologies in advance if anyone feels left out - just know I love you all and dearly miss all of you who are no longer with us. G-d Is Good."

Further, he directed fans to the link of the full video on his Instagram bio, which leads to his YouTube channel.

On the YouTube channel, one can hear the entire new rendition of ‘Til You Can’t.

Rock’s YouTube channel description of the new track gave a more detailed glimpse into the vision behind the song.

The caption read, “Kid Rock reimagines 'Til You Can't as a slowed-down, emotional ballad, adding a powerful new verse he says came to him in the middle of the night and is rooted in Jesus, faith, and spiritual reflection.”

The message added, “This intimate performance shifts the song's urgency into a moment of pause and conviction, inviting listeners to reflect on purpose, belief, and living with meaning before time runs out.

The caption mentioned that the original song was performed by Cody Johnson and was penned by Ben Stannis and Matt Rogers.

However, despite the emotions behind it, Rock’s new song got a rather underwhelming response from the fans.

Going by some of the responses, a part of the backlash might have had to do with him coming out as a pro-Make America Great Again (MAGA).

One user wrote, “Washed up!!!!! Trying way too hard,” while another stated, “Sounds like herpes. Perfect for MAGA."

An individual took a dig at the Cowboy hitmaker by reminding people about his arrests due to alleged physical altercations during the 2000s.

The comment read, “Kid Rock (Robert Ritchie) has a history of arrests related to physical altercations, primarily in the 2000s, with notable incidents in 2005 and 2007. 'These involved misdemeanor assault and battery charges, typically stemming from fights at clubs or restaurants, resulting in probation and fines.' Sounds like a good Christian to me."

Another user chimed in, “You are about as Christian as Satan.”

“Yikes...bring the old Kid Rock back. Whatever this is needs to go away," opined one user.
