Shiva Ghahremani and Neda Ghahremani, a mother-daugher duo, founded Soltopiah so people could find some solace amid the social media craze.

"Soltopiah is a new kind of digital destination — a world built for people who are ready to connect more deeply, both with others and with themselves. It’s a space beyond the noise and pressure of traditional social platforms; a place where you don’t have to perform, curate, or compete — you just get to be. Whether you’re just beginning your inner journey or have been on the path for years, Soltopiah offers something for everyone at every stage of life," they exclusively tell Morning Honey.

"Here you’ll find support, not just from experts and wellness professionals, but from a heart-led community that genuinely wants to see you grow. It’s a place to explore who you are and how you want to live, especially if surface-level connection no longer satisfies you. Within Soltopiah, you can learn, share, reflect and connect in a way that feels safe, real and soul-nourishing. This isn’t just an app — it’s a living, breathing space for becoming. A digital sanctuary where you can return to what truly matters," they continue.

The pair note that in today's world, everyone spends so much time online, "yet so little of it truly feeds us."

"Most digital spaces are built for consumption, comparison, and performance not for nourishment. That’s why Soltopiah was created: to offer a different kind of digital experience. One that supports reflection instead of reaction, presence instead of pressure, and soulfulness instead of stimulation. We’ve created a refuge for anyone who feels the emptiness that follows endless scrolling and wants something more meaningful," they note. "What makes Soltopiah a safe haven is that it doesn’t ask you to be anything other than who you are. You don’t have to market yourself to belong here. You’re not being shaped by algorithms or measured by metrics. Instead, you’re invited to explore, learn, connect, and grow in a space that honors your soul. It’s a rare corner of the internet where your inner world is not only welcomed — it’s the whole point."

As the world continues to endlessly scroll, they noticed the "digital spaces we had were no longer serving the mental health and well-being of humanity."

"We couldn’t wait around hoping someone else would build the kind of community-based platform we were longing for. Would they even understand the depth of what was needed? Would they protect the integrity of it? We weren’t willing to risk it," Neda shares. "So we took matters into our own hands. My mother and I came together with a shared vision and a sense of responsibility — to create something real, something safe, something healing, something human. We knew that if we were feeling this ache for authentic connection, nourishment, and growth, others were too. Soltopiah wasn’t created by a corporation — it was created by people, for people. And that intention is woven into every corner of the platform."

The pair revealed why they started their app.

For Shiva, the ah-ha moment came years ago "through her work in holistic healing."

"She had long envisioned a space where people could access real tools, real wisdom and real care — something that made healing truly accessible. But it became deeply personal when she watched me move through a period of deep disconnection and emotional pain. I was caught in the noise of the digital world, scrolling endlessly, feeling hollow and craving something real. She offered me the very tools she had shared with others, and they helped me find my way back to myself. In that moment, she knew she wanted to bring those same tools to the world in a much bigger way," Neda says.

She adds, "For me, the moment came when I realized I wasn’t alone in what I was feeling — that my own disconnection reflected something much larger happening in the world. I needed a space like Soltopiah, but I also felt a deep responsibility to create it. I didn’t trust that anyone else would build it with the clarity, depth, or integrity it required. When my mom and I came together and shared our visions, we realized they were two halves of the same whole. What she wanted to offer—a safe sanctuary for healing — and what I was ready to lead — a soul-centered digital world — became the blueprint for Soltopiah. That was the moment we knew we had to build it ourselves. Not someday. Now."

At Soltopiah, "we understand that nervous system regulation is the foundation of any true sense of peace," they share. "If someone is in a constant state of overstimulation or emotional overwhelm, they can’t access peace, no matter how serene the environment may look. That’s why everything we’ve created — from the design of the platform to the types of content and connection it offers — is rooted in helping people come back into a regulated state."

"Soltopiah offers tools to calm the body, settle the mind, and nourish the soul. Whether it’s through guided support, grounding resources, or simply being in a community-based space that isn’t designed to hijack your attention, we’re creating an environment that’s gentle on the nervous system. That sense of safety is cultivated through intentional design, non-performative social spaces, and practices that guide you back into your body. When the nervous system is no longer bracing for impact, the heart begins to open — and in that opening, peace becomes not just something you see, but something you feel. When people feel safe in their bodies, they begin to feel safe with others and their environment," they continue.

Since the digital world is here to stay, the pair want Soltopiah to be something that everyone needs — "a new way of moving through the digital space with intention, with soul," they note. "It’s a platform that meets people where they are and gently guides them back to themselves through conscious content, real community, and a structure that supports healing instead of overstimulation. We’re not here to reject technology — we’re here to reshape it."

"To us, empowerment means helping people remember they are whole—that they hold the authority to guide their own healing, growth, and connection. Soltopiah was built to support that remembering. In a world that constantly asks us to outsource our power to systems, influencers, and algorithms, we created a safe space to give it back. A place where people can reconnect with their truth and reclaim both their inner sovereignty and their capacity for heart-centered connection," they continue, adding that Soltopiah is organized into two distinct yet complementary spaces.

"The Mindful Hub nourishes individuals through one-on-one access to Soltopiah Guides, curated courses, healing practices, and entertainment that uplifts — whether it’s a meditation, a science-backed workshop, or a song that reminds you of your worth. The Soul Center brings that empowerment alive with community, structured soul circles that offer support and accountability, and open spaces like soul talk, where intuitive expression becomes a pathway to self-recognition. Soltopiah helps people reclaim not just themselves, but the power of connection — because true empowerment isn’t about rising alone. It’s about rising together, in truth," they add.

In five to 10 years, the duo hope Soltopiah reaches "the hearts of people all over the world — not just as a platform, but as a force for humanity."

"We created Soltopiah for those who still believe humanity is worth fighting for. For those who feel the weight of the world, but haven’t let it close their hearts. Our mission is to protect what makes us human — to revive connection, restore wholeness, and ignite the soul in a time that so often tries to numb it," they share. "We believe the way forward is through unity, not sameness, but the radiant diversity of the rainbow of humanity. Every culture, every voice, every walk of life has a place in this vision. Our hope is that our flame — our intention, our truth —reaches those who’ve been waiting for something real. And from heart to heart, that light spreads. Soltopiah is not just for now — it’s for the future we know is possible. And we’re here to build it, together. One flame at a time. One soul at a time. Until the world remembers."

'Soltopiah is just the beginning,' they note.

They conclude: "Soltopiah is just the beginning. While our foundation is already rich with intention and heart, we have so many ideas formulating behind the scenes — ways to deepen the user experience, expand our reach, and more fully support our mission of awakening connection, healing, and empowerment in the digital age. We’re constantly asking ourselves how we can better serve the soul, and how we can continue evolving in a way that feels alive, meaningful, and impactful. We’re not just building a platform — we’re laying the groundwork for a new way of living, connecting, and evolving together. The plans we have for Soltopiah reach far beyond what’s currently visible, and they’re rooted in one unwavering truth: the world is ready for something different, and we’re here to deliver it. What’s coming next is bold, beautiful, and heart-led — but you’ll have to walk with us to see it unfold."
