Savannah Guthrie’s Mother’s Day was filled with love from her family. As the family continues to endure the terrifying heartbreak as their search for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, is going on. Savannah’s husband, Michael Feldman, shared an emotional tribute to the Today show host on Instagram Sunday, and fans reflected on the family’s struggle behind the scenes.
“To the strongest person I know,” Feldman wrote alongside a touching photo of Savannah kissing their two children, Vale and Charley. “Surrounding you with love on Mother’s Day.” he added. The message came as the family continues searching for Nancy.. Her mother, Nancy, 84, vanished on Feb. 1 after authorities believe she was taken from her Arizona home by a masked suspect.

The case deeply affected the family after Nancy unexpectedly failed to appear at church services, which relatives said was unusual for her. Soon after, investigators turned her home into an active crime scene.
As the investigation intensified, authorities working alongside the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department uncovered disturbing clues, including possible DNA evidence and surveillance footage showing a masked individual attempting to disable Nancy’s front door camera on the night she disappeared.
The terrifying mystery has clearly devastated Savannah, who emotionally opened up about the case during a tearful March interview on “Today.” “It is unbearable,” she said while breaking down in tears. “And to think of what she went through, I wake up every night in the middle of the night, every night, and in the darkness, I imagine her terror, and it is unthinkable, but those thoughts demand to be thought and I will not hide my face, but she needs to come home now,” she shared.
The veteran journalist also heartbreakingly admitted she fears her own fame may somehow have played a role in her mother becoming a target. “I just want to say, I’m so sorry, mommy,” she said through tears. Savannah also pushed back against online speculation suggesting members of her own family may have been connected to Nancy’s disappearance, including her siblings Camron Guthrie and Annie Guthrie.

“It’s unbearable. … There are no words. I don’t understand, and I’ll never understand,” the TV personality shared. Savannah and her family have reportedly received multiple ransom notes from people claiming to have kidnapped Nancy, demanding millions in exchange for her return.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared an update on Friday, revealing authorities believe they are getting closer to solving the heartbreaking case. For now, Savannah’s family continues to hold onto hope while trying to survive what has become months of fear, grief and unanswered questions surrounding Nancy’s disappearance.
