Many others remembered Takeoff - Offset's cousin and fellow Migos member, who was shot dead in 2022. "We can't lose another Migo twin," a user commented with an AI-generated image. "This is bad , why do I feel like the Migos are being targeted ?" wondered someone else.

Offset, Takeoff, and his uncle Quavo were part of the platinum-selling hip-hop group Migos. Formed in 2008, the group disbanded after the fatal shooting of Takeoff in 2022. Shortly after the tragic incident, Offset took to Instagram and penned a heartfelt note remembering his fellow band member.

"The pain you have left me with is unbearable." Offset wrote at the time. "My heart is shattered, and I have so many things to say, but I can't find the words. I've been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it's reality, and reality feels like a nightmare," the rapper shared.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, secretly married Cardi B in 2018. The latter announced that she filed for divorce in 2024. The former couple has three children together.
