Michelle Perchuk, Founder of MTV Coaching, is flipping the script when it comes to finding a job. Instead of making it stressful, she wants people to think of it as an opportunity to grow and reinvent themselves.

"Beyond being a talent acquisition and recruiting expert, and a career and business progression coach, I am also the founder of MTV Coaching, a premium service for high-achievers ready to stop settling and start designing careers that align with their purpose and potential. My clients want to discover amazing jobs but don't always know how. My unique solution includes bypassing job boards, making every conversation count, tapping the hidden job market and creating opportunities that will take executives to the next level," Perchuk exclusively tells Morning Honey.

The businesswoman starts each day with a gratitude journal before she hops on calls and tackles her to-do list.

"My work schedule is filled with consultations, group coaching sessions and individual sessions with clients. Sometimes it's difficult to manage my schedule because I start early in the morning with European clients and then move with the sun to the East Coast, followed by early evenings with the West Coast. No matter how busy I get, I always find time for my family and self-love. I strive to be the best I can be so I can be there for the people who need me," she shares. "I help professionals get aligned with their why. In tech and finance, many professionals lose themselves. They make a lot of money and very often don't find the work rewarding. This leads to burnout and lack of inspiration. I help them to re-align with their purpose and dream role and then give them a bulletproof system on how to get it."

When Perchuk lands people their dream jobs, it's an amazing and "super rewarding" feeling, she shares.

"When I work with clients, I give a lot of my energy, but I find that the more energy I give away, the more it gets replenished. I am also certain that I am here for this exact reason, to help people achieve their career goals," she explains.

After spending many years in executive recruiting and talent acquisition, she found herself struggling "with my professional purpose."

Michelle Perchuk created MTV Coaching.

"My work was transactional, a client, a big bank would ask me to get them a candidate for a role and I would do that. I would present several applicants and one of them would get hired. It was a marketplace and mimicked supply and demand. I wanted to do transformational work, I wanted to show people how they could realize their potential and get promoted or change industries. I wanted to enrich their lives, not just collect a placement fee," she says.

From there, she created her own path: starting MTV Coaching.

"I designed a system called PLAAN A because with me, you never need a Plan B. Each letter stands for an important component of the method. First, I help people define their passion and professional purpose. Then I help them identify what they need to learn in order to achieve that. They will need to Acknowledge that it will not be easy and they will need to leave their comfort zone. Once all that is done, we help them design their Assets like resume, LinkedIn Profile and professional bio. Once they know what they are looking for, we show them how to go and get in through Networking with intention. Lately, we keep them accountable with world-class support, like individual coaching, community and a learning platform," she says.

"The biggest highlight for me is when a client told me I saved her life. I always knew the impact I made for people in their careers is huge, but I never realized how liberating it would be to land your dream job. Since then, I have rescued hundreds of professionals from financial woes and personal problems that arise from losing your job or being dissatisfied," she says of the highlights along the way.

Though there are challenges, including finding enough time to help all the ones that need help, she is adamant that there's "no career challenge we can't solve."

"Our success rate has been incredible, everyone who follows my methodology lands a dream job in record time. We share these success stories and our clients share with the community. Our weekly support call starts with celebrations where people see first hand others landing jobs. There is no better way to create positivity than to share and show that others are finding success. Success is infectious," she notes.

She adds, "If you know what you are looking for, get resourceful and hire an expert. It's really simple, but many people will keep struggling and doing the same thing over and over again and expect miracles. I meet professionals all the time who spend hours applying online and get rejection after rejection. But instead of looking for a new way, they just keep doing it over and over and hope to get lucky."

Going forward, Perchuk has a lot left to complete.

"I hope to organize retreats for like-minded professionals so we can keep educating them on how to be better and evolve in this fast-paced world. I want to build a sense of community where executives can network and help each other and be intentional," she states, adding she feels "so fortunate" to be in the position she's in.

"I get to help those who are suffering and there are so many. It's rewarding and feeds my soul, the more people find success through my program the more I want to keep giving them different strategies that will lead to success," she continues.

She concludes, "Motivation really comes from within, we rarely take people on if they are not motivated. But we do provide tactics for self motivation and uplifting exercises. I invented a ritual that people are supposed to use before going on an interview. So lets say you are not motivated on a stormy day but you have an interview of a lifetime on that day. You just don't feel great about yourself and you feel deflated. Our pre-interview ritual was designed to help you get out of this slump and lift yourself up and rock that interview."
