Meghan Markle sent a Mother's Day gift package, along with a handwritten card, from her As Ever brand to Kris Jenner on Wednesday, May 6, which was shared by the latter on her Instagram handle.
This offered a glimpse into their relationship and indicated that Jenner and Markle’s friendship remains intact, following the much-talked about "photogate" incident of November 2025.
However, many netizens still remain divided as they speculate that Jenner’s social media post was only courteous and not done out of her love for Markle.

An X post on Kris Jenner sharing an Instagram story about Meghan Markle's As Ever gift package.
Jenner shared a picture of the gift on her Instagram story, writing, "Thank you @meghan @aseverofficial for the beautiful Mother's Day gifts! These candles smell so delicious!!! Happy Mother's Day!!!"
The package included chocolates, candles and a handwritten Mother’s Day card that read, "Dear Kris, Happy Mother's Day to the most maternal woman in the world."
Interestingly, the candles were As Ever's recently released products No. 506 and No. 604, inspired by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The products drew criticism when they launched because some said Markle was using her children's royal titles for commercial promotion.
The growing curiosity about their current relationship stems from the Photogate incident in November 2025, in which photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Jenner's 70th birthday party were deleted from social media without a public explanation.

Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian addressed the incident on Khloé in Wonder Land, saying the couple asked for the photos to be removed because they did not want to be seen at a party on Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom.
"They didn't want to be seen at a party, even though it's already up, you know, and then taken down. And then I think they realized, like, 'Oh, this was so silly,'" Kardashian said.
She added, "It was really innocent, which is so crazy."
‘Meghan Is the Most Insecure Person in the World’
Jenner's post drew skeptical responses from some social media users.
One user wrote, "Kris Jenner isn't rude like you Meghan, when she received this unwanted gift from you she said Thank you! Real friends and it's not necessary to post online."
Another user asked, "I have a question, why do people continue to oblige Meghan Markle? Kris Jenner doesn't need to do this. Why hasn't someone put her in her place publicly?"
An individual commented, “Meghan is the most insecure person in the world. I am sure she bombarded Kris until she posts the thank you.”
One user stated, "Did she really just write 'the most maternal woman in the world…'"
