'Most Embarrassing': 'Pathetic' Trump Heavily Trolled After Claiming He Draws Bigger Crowds Than Elvis Presley
President Donald Trump had planned to make America’s semiquincentennial Independence Day celebrations memorable by organizing a series of massive spectacles, including Freedom 250 concerts.
However, things are not going entirely according to plan, as several expected artists have pulled out of performing at the event.
With performers withdrawing their names, it appears that the president decided to headline the event himself.
In a lengthy online rant, he claimed to be more popular than Elvis Presley -- a bold statement that prompted widespread mockery and criticism across social media.

According to Associated Press, as part of the United States’ 250th anniversary, the White House previously announced The Great American State Fair, scheduled from June 25 to July 10 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
The event was initially designed to feature a series of concerts with a lineup including Vanilla Ice, Martina McBride, The Commodores, C+C Music Factory, Young MC, Morris Day, Poison’s Bret Michaels, Flo Rida, and Milli Vanilli's Fab Morvan.
This once-in-a-generation celebration started facing logistical hurdles when performers began to drop out one after another.
Milli Vanilli, The Commodores, Martina McBride, and Bret Michaels are among the musical acts who have officially pulled the plug on their scheduled appearances.
On May 30, following growing public backlash, Trump made a lengthy rant through his Truth Social account.
The president wrote that he understood the artists are getting “the yips” by removing their names from the Freedom 250 concerts.
To compensate, he said that he plans to bring in the “Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime.”

Trump called himself the greatest president in American history and referred to himself as “THE GOAT” as he announced he would personally replace the “Third Rate ‘Artists.’” He stated he would give a major speech focused on “rallying the Country forward like I have done ever since being President!”
He once again took a dig at the departing musical acts, claiming that they were being paid too much.
“I only want to be surrounded by Happy People, Smart People, Successful People, and People that know how to WIN,” Trump remarked, adding, “Only Great Patriots invited — It will be a Wild and Beautiful Celebration of America!”
Internet Mocks Donald Trump
Trump’s unusual Truth Social rant was subsequently amplified when it was shared by the official White House account on X.
Consequently, the post rubbed people the wrong way, especially as many citizens continue to vocalize frustrations over inflation and high daily living costs.
One user wrote, “The only thing Trump and Elvis have in common is their proclivity for underage girls.”
Another user commented, “This is probably the most unintentionally hilarious COPE Trump has ever said in his life. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, would rather listen to a stale, lie-filled speech.”
An individual stated, “Everything about your presidency is one giant fumble. You're the GOAT of the choke. Never been a bigger rug pull in our history. Pathetic!”
“This must be the parody account?” wondered another user. One user wrote, “If this isn’t the most embarrassing thing. If I supported this lunatic, I’d commit my d-mn self in a mental institution. The Artists canceled because they hate YOU!! Just like most of the world.”
